Hi Flashbang,
Pleased there are others out there and it's not just me :j
Had a really good day today. NSD yesterday although they haven't really added up this month! Woke up early due to our rubbish black out blind which cost a small fortune from a specialist blind company:mad: so decided to do my 20 min Shred DVD. Except I put the six pack one on and only realised when I had finished 40 minutes later that I was running very late for work! Made it into work on time. Phew. Had PPA time but our network was being changed so did exactly no work other than create a todo list template for every remaining week of the academic year. Looks like it will be a busy weekend now.
Despite all this though feel really positive for some reason. Came home and did the 20 min DVD I should have done this morning. Don't know whether it's the fact I'm doing exercise every day but really feeling happy. Although there is that little nagging voice telling me to expect something big and bad to come out of nowhere and sucker punch me!!
Am thinking of cancelling my gym membership. I only go to one class a week now as lots have been cancelled and I can pay and go for this class so would save me £24 which could go in the savings. Will see how dedicated I become to the DVDs and whether I remain motivated.
Anyway, wish me luck, off to check the bank balance :eek:NSD -5/20

Have just about given up on this month, can't wait until April to start over...again... We've sort of gone a little crazy with our spends this month as already mentioned, just need to reign it back in and get back the positive feelings we had when we had a NSD. Recently it's just all felt a little satle??
Have been really good this past week with exercise though. Have managed to do the six week six pack every morning except Tuesday and Shred every evening except Monday. My stomach feels flatter already!

I am still here! Well actually, I'm not really but it really is somewhere in my brain, honest!
Have just been stupidly busy with school and various relatives in hospital and you know other stuff like eating and sleeping. Although on the eating front our oven managed to blow all the electricity the other night so we are now without an oven.
Think things are going to be pretty quiet over next month as going on honeymoon. But I promise that as of May, I will be well and truely back on form.
Has anyone been catching that super scrimpers BTW? Just watching episode 2 now and although some of the stuff is a bit common sense, some of it is really helpful.
ANy *cough* off to have our curry

Hello, just popping by since you stuck your head into my diary and said hello.

You sound like you're doing well with the exercise, I need you to give me some motivation - my clothes are feeling tight.

Honeymoon was amazing thanks! OH came 4th in a poker tournament that I said I would pay for him to enter for his Xmas present so did pretty well!!
Exercise has been none existant now for 3 weeks so need to get back on it. I just know what to expect now and the thought of going through it again is horrific!!:p
Well need to sit down today and make plans for savings etc. Need to sort oven out and then the car needs things doing to it before the MOT. We come off our fixed rate mortgage in June which is exciting as our repayments will be reduced. Hoping to keep paying what we are at the moment and try and reduce the actual balance as we are in quite a substantial negative equity now
I know it isnt too bad as we aren't looking to move house but it's still nagging.
Anyway, off for breakfast and list making!!NSD -5/20

A list shared is a list halved!
Ha! Maybe not but what have you decided on? (I know, I know, I'm very nosy!) xx Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Loumac I'm ashamed to say we didn't even get close to list making:o
OH dad's back in hospital with phenomia now, which as he can't get about due to the bone cancer is unlikely to be cured properly. Have spent most evenings in hospital. Although on the plus side have found out that the hospital do a weekly carpark ticket which is only £12. They don't actually advertise it and only mention it if they are directly asked about it...
Should save us lots of money though which will be fab.
Haven't said that we have become very easily distracted form everything. Think we both know that things need to be looked at but are skirting round issues and buying a LOT of takeaways (hit 4 last weekend )
Gonna break the habit of a lifetime and not start a list on a Monday but start on a Tuesday instead. The time for putting off is over and done!!!
On the plus side, am about 60p away from cashing out on Onepoll :j
Also Sashybo - need you to tell me to get exercising, I have no motivation at the mo!NSD -5/20

Hi sazzle - ha, I can't tell anyone to exercise - I've still not started again!
:rotfl: I know once I do it I will feel better but need to force myself - as do you! I'm kind of scared to start Shred again as it hurt so much the first time....
Sorry to hear about OH's dad but better news about the parking ticket.
Well done on nearly cashing out on Onepoll as well. :jSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,345, Car loan CC 0% BT £4900. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Hurrah! Have cashed out on Onepoll :j Still £1.40 off Pureprofile which is taking a very...long...time.
Looking forward to this weekend. Going to do absolutely nothing and then out for a curry tomorrow night with friends.
Have got Everest coming round tomorrow morning to give me a quote for a new backdoor. Not expecting to go with them for the job but want to start getting quotes to aim with savings.
The highlight of this evening is likely to be waiting for the oven cleaner to do it's job!!:pNSD -5/20

Well spent 10 mins on pureprofile and was getting excited as thought I owuld get full payment...unfortunately it had reached the quota so ony got 5p:mad: £1.30 still to go!
Had another double glazing quote, £5k but they had a "special" offer on for that week only that if we took their payment scheme we would get 20% off. Mind it was only for that week though and he'd never seen such an amazing discount blah blah blah. 13.1% typical APR over 8 years me thinks not!!
So looks like a winter of me shivering and now panicking that the front window may collapse after Everest told me that it wasn't the correct thickness and wasn't supporting the house  Even though I know this may have been a ploy to get me to buy I can't help a little panic.
OH and I sat down and went through the house room by room and now have a list of things that needs doind. It is rather extensive and with only £84 in savings may take some time to do so!
Still next week is half term and I need it. So so tired, especially looking forward to it as I am back on the injections after the crazy few months we've had and after they turned me into an emotional wreck last time will be pleased not to have to go into work on them! This will be our last IUI before IVF and if I'm honest I'm not holding out much hope. Really got our hopes up last month as everyone said "oooo you're going on a nice relaxing holiday, people always fall pregnant on their holidays, it just happens" Seriously if one more person tells me to "try to take it easy" or "not to stress" I may explode. Which possible means I should take it easy...NSD -5/20
