Haha Loumac, I don't need any encouragement!!! It was a fun weekend though, think I've deserved it:D
Well after the best part of £150 at the dentist (they don't do payment plans for under £200) I now have a plastic rugby mouth guard type thing that feels huge in my mouth and is more than likely not going to stop me grinding my teeth at night - in fact in some cases may encourage me to do it more!! The dentist didn't mention that bit before taking casts. It was only because I got a new dentist today that I found this out
Still it's worth a shot - really need something as my two front teeth are getting ground down so much.
In other news, have done a few Onepolls and Pureprofiles today but nothing major. Keep plodding along with Yougov but at this rate it's going to take about 40 years to get to payout. Found out that the council is considering closing our local gym due to "it's close proximity to other centres". What they haven't mentioned is they are also shutting the other centre!! My nearest council gym will be about 10 miles away. Basically what they mean is that because I live in a "relatively afluent" area, I have a car and can drive to the nearest area. Am going to have to look at other gyms as I don't have the motivation to do DVDs all the time.
Need to do a big shop today as we had *cough3cough* take aways over the weekend. Am looking into an alkaline diet - aparently this is good for conception (hitting desperation point, I'll be sitting under a pyramid and swaying next!) Also as it's the hols this means it's time for the frantic cleaning session of the house:rotfl:. Due to how busy I've been over the weekend and with the flu before hand I also have a veritable mountain of ironing. Still I have Sam and Dean Winchester to keep me company:jNSD -5/20

Should really have clarified that by Sam and Dean Winchester I meant Supernatuaral!! Not having some sort of crazy affair!!
Well tried my mouth guard last night and all I have to show for it is a bad nights sleep, a really dry sore throat and a tongue that's been cut to shreds as the edge of the guard is really rough and unfinished. If I'm honest, I'm not happy with the quality of the guard, it's uneven and badly finished leaving the edges rough. I'm also really annoyed that I wasn't told it could make me grind more. Call me old fashioned but I would expect better quality after paying £125. Anyone know where I stand with getting a refund??
So far this morning, I've taken my mum out to our shops and taken a lamp back to Next that had broken. Also managed to spend a fortune on things I'd run out of in Boots.

Hello, my name is Sazzle and I've have a New Super Mario Brothers on the Wii addiction!:o
Although I managed to get most things on my list done yesterday, the important one of the job application didn't even get a look in. I spent goodness knows how many hours trying to finish the last level only to find a "secret world ". Must stop playing it as I think I am developing RSI in my wrist!
Went for a facial today with a friend, luckily had a gift voucher so it only cost me £20 and feel very relaxed as a result. Have also spent the day on the Wii so have got nothing done
Am going to make my OH hide the disc so that I get some work done this evening and tomorrow!!NSD -5/20

Well am slowly making my way through the to do list.
Got very excited earlier. Keep getting emails from Virgin saying that my statement is available for viewing. Have rung them a few times to close the aco!!!! and each time get the speil that it' s been etc. Anyway a few days ago I got a letter to the house about changes to the account. Decided enough was enough and rang them to demand they closed the account. Turns out they couldn't close it as it was £18 in credit :j. Money being transferred to my account and card closed:j.
Having a lazy day today, OH sold his ticket to the match toady as he's golfing tomorrow. Have a love film of Lie to Me series 2 to watch, a garden to tidy and a wok to oil. Rock and roll!:rotfl:
Thinking ahead to March and really going to have to have a full quota of no spends and then minimum spends the rest of the time. Thinking of taking out £30 a week and living on that. Also going to try and cut back on using the car and shopping. Have got into very bad habits in both with lots of take aways and "I don't fancy that for tea" !!! well as driving short distances because it looks like rain!
Half way through job application for Deputy job, have also seen a job going at my local school which would be ideal as I could walk. Need to find out what happens to my pay scale after my AST contract ends as it's Main pay scale only. I have heard that as an AST I automatically go onto Upper pay scale if I stop being an AST but as I found out recently I am only counted as a temporary AST so perhaps I might go to Main pay scale (fingers crossed!!!) It's all very complicated! Ridiculous really, I would happily drop my pay to work at a local school as I would save money in petrol and travel costs but County Hall won't allow you to!!!NSD -5/20

Busy busy day today, getting all the jobs I should have done over half term finished! Nearly there, just a few bits left...until I remember something else:rotfl:
Managed a NSD today, but have been researching work shoes on the internet so going to try them on and hopefully buy some tomorrow.
Rather annoyed as went to the MAC counter on Friday to get some foundation, asked for NC 15 but when I went to put some on last night discovered I was given NW 20 . Will try and get a swap tomorrow but have a bad feeling that they will try and work their way out of it by saying as I've left the store...
Anyway, just signing in briefly in between work. Hope everyone's had a good weekend!NSD -5/20

Hey sazzle,
I've not been on for a week either, hope you're ok! How did Ofsted go? xxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Hi Loumac,
OFSTED went well thanks, not allowed to say how we did until the report is released but it was better than I thought, although I do wonder if the amount of stress was worth it.
So have spent the weekend chilling out and doing nothing. Had a birthday party last night and sort of went crazy yesterday as it was themed and I had nothing to fit. Spent a lot of money but now have the guilts and will be taking most of it back
Also need to get back on the gym bandwagon, had lots of plans for last week which went by the wayside thanks to our visitors and my living at school. 5 weeks until honeymoon and want to be rocking a six pack :rotfl:well I can dream!!
It's roadtax month, funny how it always seems to sneak up on us. We've got money in the emergency funds to cover it but need to sort ourselves out (yet again) and start savings for future occurances of it - and also for the insurance renewal which I imagine will be expensive.
Anyway, off to write my weekly todo list.NSD -5/20

Hello!
I'm starting to get a little lax again
Spending has got out of control again and I keep finding excuses not to log onto here. OH father is in hospital as he has secondary bone cancer (primary not been found yet) so think OH and I have use di as an excuse to eat take aways and basically slip into our old ways of spending to try and cheer ourselves up. We sort of had a wakeup last night as we have also stopped exercising so wiping the kebab grease from our chins we agreed to rein things in. (Obviously after having eaten the remains of our kebab for lunch today!)
Annoyed as lost the money I had accumulated on my one goal or more account on Betfair on a last minute bet on the spurs game. Have £9 left to bet wisely :rotfl:
Am so close to cashing in on both Onepoll and Pureprofile but as per usual the surveys seem to have dried up.
On the plus side, managed to complete Mario, first time I've completed a game since Asterix on the Sega Master System aged 11!
Have absolutely no money in the bank for the rest of the month, so it'll be freezer bingo until payday
Feeling a bit saintly as did the 6 week six pack dvd from that lady who does the Shred dvd. I found it rather hard and had to stopa few times but am hoping to do it before I go to work of a morning to try and wake me up!NSD -5/20

Hello, I have enjoyed reading your diary. I'm a teacher too and some of your comments - in particular the takeaways and the 'don't fancy it'. It can be so hard doing the day job and keeping tabs on the money. Hope your school situation is ok and best of luck for the job hunt.
