When I saw my gp (new gp, just moved) and was asked, I simply said I'm going to politely say no thankyou, as I dont believe in vaccinations, and have had a great opportunity to learn a lot about them owing to my job working with a team of wellness practioners and world renowned chiropractor......

On what basis do you "not believe" in vaccinations? And how does working with "wellness practioners" or a "world renowned chiropractor" qualify you to know more about them then the medical profession.

If someone doesn't want to have a vaccination then that is up to them but I don't think that they should be able to stop their children from having it.

  • If I was pregnant I would definitely have the vaccination. The risk of early labour from swine flu would be too much of a worry. And I lost a baby at 34 weeks 3 years ago - no way could I go through that again and I would not wish anyone else to have to go through it..

As for children - if I had any and I was offered it. I would absolutely let them have it. It's the same as any other flu jab - it's just been developed for this strain.

I have had it anyway because I live with someone who has a compromised immune system due to medication. I felt tired and had a sore arm but that was it.

so sorry you lost your baby :( that was my thinking when they offered me the jab, I had problems earlier in this pregnancy that meant pre term labour (as early as 18 weeks) was a high risk, I was even told to prepare for the worst, think about what I would want 'done' should Noah have arrived that early...there was no way I was going to turn down the swine flu vac when it came my way. x

Im waiting at the moment to see if dd2 can have the jab because she has had reactions to jabs before. The doctor wasn't sure if its OK so he is going to ring the local hospital and find out, but he did say he thought it should be OK.

If she can have it then she will. Flu can very nasty and shes still very small, so I think the risks from flu (any type not just swine flu) outweigh the risks of the vaccine.

My daughter stopped breathing hours after she had the 2nd lot of normal baby jabs. She got quite ill after the first lot but I never thought it could be the jabs. They did a blood test and found that despite having only having 2 jabs the antibodies in her blood were very good so she didn`t need the 3rd jab. A year ago she had blood tests and the antibodies for HIB are low but her immune system isn`t good enough for her to have it done again. She still has antibodies against whooping cough etc.

Being as my daughter got so ill after jabs that have been tested and there are results from millions of people she won`t be having the swine flu jab. The decision is a very personal decision and you have to live with what you decide to do. I personally am damned if I do and damned if I don`t. I discussed swine flu with my daughters consultant when a child first had it at her school and he just said if she has any signs at all, she is to have tamiflu and I am to keep an eye on her and at the first sign of it getting worse to ring him. He has not recommended that she has the swine flu jab. This time of year she is always ill with respiratory infections so I am even more paranoid than I usually am.

swine flu is a swindle.. a hoax.. perpetrated to sell vaccines and other pharmaceutical products.

those who push the scare had doubtlessly positioned themselves beforehand to benefit financially from the fear.

a huge amount of healthcare funding has been pumped into the pharmaceutical sector, as vaccine doses (with a finite life) are stockpiled.

it's one giant swindle. a modern day tulip mania.

imvho, there is no great risk from "swine flu". there are no mountains of corpses. and just maybe the virus doesn't even exist. panic over!

and the moon landing was fakes and there was totally an alien standing behind Clinton picking his nose as he made a speech this one time

DS2 had his a few months ago, no problems from it at all. He gets the seasonal flu vaccine every year due to chest problems. For him it was the best choice to get the jab. I'll stick him with however needles I have too if it means I never have to see him on a ventilator again.

It may be different for your child, you have to make the choice.

Swine flu did come at a good time for the pharmaceutical companies. Their share price has always been high but they soon shot up. Now the UK and lots of other companies have a large amount of unused vaccines. GP's haven't vaccinated as many as the government paid for and some countries are offering it to undeveloped countries. There have been cases of deaths in Sweden after vaccines but it's been pushed under the carpet as the ones that died may have died had they had swine flu as they had underlying health problems. There has probably been more deaths but it's hard to get the medical profession to admit to vaccine causing the death.

When my daughter had the vaccine and took ill several hours later and ended up in intensive care no one would say it was the vaccine. The nurse who gave it didn't fill in her red book and didn't give me the batch number. My daughter was 8 months when she had the jab, she had already had open heart surgery at 4 months and she recovered from that within a month but the vaccine took close on 2 years and She ended up developmentally delayed. I did contact a solicitor and I still have a good few years to decide whether or not to sue. I have 3 other daughters and they were fine with their baby jabs as are most children. At least now they have removed the adjuvants in baby jabs but it is still present in swine flu vaccine in the UK but I Don't think it's in the ones in the US.

    Why?.

All the hysteria, is precisely that hysteria. Most of the anti-jabs/vaccinations crowd's arguments have no basis in fact.

Well !!!!!! me there was me thinking that I was really ill all over Christmas, couldn't eat, drink, had the sweats, chest pains, sinuses banging away, high temperature and sneezing every 5 minutes.....the pandemic hotline are in on the scam to get you to take Tamiflu..which is free by the way!
Now only if I hadn't spent those 2 weeks wasting my time on a hoax instead of not being able to get out of bed.
