Hi all
Can I have a PAD please of £5.52 to savings again Green?
Im so !!!!!! off today, why is it I cant get cat litter anywhere?? Surely it cant be much good as a grit on account of it clumping into soggy mush
Ive tried Lidl, Waitrose, Tesco and the local shops and nothing!
Fortunately my Mum has some from when her outdoorsy cat was ill so shes giving me what she has but its a much further walk and the stuff weighs a ton
Please please please stop snowing soon, I cant take much more
On a positive note I had some cavity wall insulation done today and bled all my radiators (upstairs ones were totally filled with air) and topped up my boiler as the pressure went to 0 so should have a much warmer house now :T
Hope you get home ok Euro hun

Evening All,
My run of bad luck seems set to continue...
I was in Tesco today (un)happily doing my monthly shop but when I go to the checkout I realised that I didn't have the card I normally use when I'm doing the shopping. Luckily I had an emptly cc with me so I went to use it and the pin came up as incorrect so the cashier told me to try it again and then again as a slip will come up for me to sign so I let me card get blocked and no slip appeared
Obviously by this point I couldn't have felt more embaressed and the only other cc I had with me was the one I'm padding towards and the rate would be sky high so all I could do was use the money in the bill account that was meant for my car loan payment that's due tomorrow.
On the way back home OH was telling me that he'd count out £5.00 in coppers for his 'me time' this evening as it wasn't his fault I didn't have a method of payment for the shopping and it shouldn't affect him! I told him that he takes MY car to work everyday and drives it around all the time never needing to put fuel in it or buy screenwash or pay for the tax or servicing so not being able to pay for it DOES affect him. (flaming cheek!)
Anyway, I got home and got the shopping away and fed the kids then sat down with a cuppa and tried to work out where I could get £145.00 from by close of business today. I'm really quite ashamed but I had to raid the kids' piggy banks. I never touch the money in their bank accounts but there has been a few 10 and 20 pound notes going into their piggy banks over the xmas period so I had to use themI feel like I've robbed my kids and he's still got to go away to his wee thing that he goes to every fortnight.
I put £20.00 worth of petrol in the car last night and it's back on the red light so I don't even know if he'll make it home later on and I've no way of getting anyone to get him...doughnut that he is!
Anyway, on a more positive note, I was asked to help out at the fat club meeting so I'll be getting a refund on my monthly pass (paid in advance) and won't have to pay for the meetings anymore, very :money:!
I don't know if Karma is catching up with me for something but it's definitely starting to annoy me!!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
Aim for 2011 - pay off car loan £260.00 saved
