The legal side of things is worth a thought but if it's a temporary contract I'm not sure how it all works... besides if you hate it, it's probably not worth putting yourself through the hassle of suing them or kicking up a fuss.
I totally agree with your post except for one word - the word "sometimes". I'm sure you didn't really mean it the way it looked though.

I had the same problem when I had my 4th back operation and was off work for nearly 7 months. The doctor actually rang my work and told them that they were wrong to harass me and if they were not happy with his sick notes then he wanted someone from my works Occ Health to come to his surgery and they could examine me together. He also told them that they were on dodgy ground as I could put in a harassment claim if they continued. Strangely they became quite amicable after that.
Sashybo - i know you said you didn't want to talk to your doctor but i think you should. Whether the company are within legal rights to fire you or not, it wouldn't hurt them to be a little bit more compassionate. I'm so sorry you're having such a carp time xxxPaulgonnabedebtfree wrote: »I hope the boss gets a dose of the clap.

Thankfully, my sore throat disappeared by itself this time. But, I also used to get tonsilitus loads! They never did take them out though. I remember my doctor, at the time, saying that if I caught it again they'd have to be removed. I haven't had it since, I think they were scared into submission as you can no longer see my tonsils unless my throat is infected! lol. I do still suffer with more than my fair share of throat infections though
Booo!
xx
Same here, they never took them out because they said the tonsils were what was stopping me from getting chest infections instead... I did develop Quinsy one christmas though and that was horrible - my whole neck was swollen up and there was no gap at all at the back of my mouth, it was just one big mass of swollen tonsils :rotfl: I couldn't breath so the emergency doc had to come out and drain the tonsils with a needle:eek:

Our sky box has just conked out, I've tried all the usual stuff, plugging and unplugging, viewing card, etc, but no luck and sky have said it's gonna cost £65 for an engineer to come out  We still have some channels, but none of the terrestrial ones. It happened just in time for the England match as well. How annoying!

euronorris wrote: »Great news about the CC! Interest rate is marvellous! My Virgin CC is 34.9% and Halifax is 24.9% (I think). So, by comparison, you can see how good your interest rate is. Just make sure you use it only for it's original purpose.
Turns out I have an even better deal but I guess the rate does not make a difference since I don't intend to buy anything that I would not have bought prior to it and intend to pay off the bill in full every month!!!
As for my PAD for the day, another measly £1 towards NW OD please! Thanks clearing!!£365 in 365 days challenge: £730 / £1500
