Hi all, pad of £21 today as got some click money through.

Went to the Dr's this morning and to go back to work in two weeks. Work are kicking up a fuss and saying they will dismiss me if I don't go back sooner. :( I couldn't even talk about work to the doctor without crying - so don't want to go back there.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.

    :grouphug: for you Sashy!!

Sorry to hear work are giving you such a hard time. Is it even legal for them to say such things?

Are there any local supermarket/pub/shop jobs near you? Might be an idea to consider doing something temporary, to keep the money coming in, so you can save yourself from going back to the other place and have an income whilst you find a more suitable job.

Sashy... what do you want to do? Is it feasible for you to quit? Sometimes health is more important than money. I'm sending you lots of :grouphug: and positive thoughts! (I only have a few positive thoughts but I'll share with you :) ) xxx

The legal side of things is worth a thought but if it's a temporary contract I'm not sure how it all works... besides if you hate it, it's probably not worth putting yourself through the hassle of suing them or kicking up a fuss.

I had the same problem when I had my 4th back operation and was off work for nearly 7 months. The doctor actually rang my work and told them that they were wrong to harass me and if they were not happy with his sick notes then he wanted someone from my works Occ Health to come to his surgery and they could examine me together. He also told them that they were on dodgy ground as I could put in a harassment claim if they continued. Strangely they became quite amicable after that.
