I really need to make some dents in the CCs
I've cut back and adjusted my spending over the last 18mths or so and last year paid off 2 loans and a SC. This leaves the CCs left to tackle and my habit is just pay the minimum on DD (I know!)
How do I motivate myself to make extra payments and divert money onto them to start to reduce them.
I really want to make some progress this year to owe less and make me feel better and finally get the money I earn for me not debts!
Any advice is welcomeloulou0327 wrote: »I only joined in yesterday and it already looks like i can't make any payments till Tuesday.
After the direct debits have gone out I'm in the overdraft again till pay day.
Will keep lurking till then.

Welcome to you both!
Just remember that PADs don't have to be big - plenty of us do pence a day (or even just 1p a day) when things are really tight. It feels incredibly motivating to even pay such a small amount every day.
It has certainly saved my sanity (though I know some would dispute that - wibble!)PigginSkint's debt free diary

Thanks for the general hugs and support.... I was doing ok until last night, had a minor drunken moment and ended up in tears after a piggy-back accident!Had spent the previous drink thinking about the idiot-boy... Had a good night until then though... ended up swapping my red heels and hold-ups for someones jeans.... I looked silly and the girls adored him! How is that fair?!
I am soooooo tired now, going to try and have a bath and then make my way to bed. Occassionally I have a life away from MSE but can't leave it for too long now!
