If it was forts and tree climbing I'd have no problems! I gather that its about differents aspects of childhood, nurture vs nature, cultural differences etc etc. But I haven't opened the book yet!

Just a quick rant or I'll explode.... WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE SO ANNOYING!!!!!!

Twice this week I've made plans with my friend and she has let me down both times... it was her birthday yesterday and she said to go over for breakfast at 10 before I go to work and she would make pancakes, tuesday night when I asked her about it she said she wouldn't be up so don't go over til 11 which was too late for me to do anything other than pop in for 10 minutes.

Today she says go over and watch some gavin and stacey (GAVLAAAAR!) as I wanted to make pancakes (still havent had any) and we can have a girly evening getting ready for her night out tomorrow. I just text her to say shall I come over and I get 'if you want but im shattered' as a response.

This happens all the time.... her housemate (also my friend) always gets a different impression and apparently she is always excited about these things. Why the hell do some people think acting like they aren't bothered is so cool? It really does make me angry and I'm sick of her messing around all the time. If I hadn't already got a room booked for tomorrow I wouldn't bother going.

That's really frustrating!!

Can you cancel your room then pretend there's been a mix up with your reservation?!

Unfortunately not as it's a cheapo deal with travelodge. My alternative is to stay at home and wallow so it's probably a good thing I'm going and it'll take my mind off the other stuff going on. I'm just so tired of it... luckily my shift pattern at work is changing and it means I won't have any days off with her so maybe I can use that to distance myself a bit

I've got a really good friend who I don't see enough of but when we do see each other it's like we see each other all the time, the conversation flows and there's never any awkward moments....quality time is definitely better than quantity of time!
