  • :j Good Afternoon everyone :j

Just wanted to apologise for being a rude boy last night - the angel had me in her wicked spell and no matter how hard I tried to escape, the lure of her charm was just way too strong to resist.... think a super-strong magnet and a car trying to drive away from it...! :rotfl:

I didn't actually realise you guys would come in and catch up on all the pages of flirts - lol, (I hope my mommy isn't looking!).....

Anyway, just thought i'd pop in and try and make excuses for myself but then realised you're all as bad anyway ;) hehe

'fraid we do! Its all part of the fun of the thread :) No need to make excuses though!

  • Thanks FF... we will see what happens. Counsellor seemed ok today, I just need to get my head past the fact that just because I am seeking therapy doesn't mean I am a failure at coping with things. I guess the stigma of it is still too much for me, and I still struggle with the idea of depression even though I am clearly suffering from it. I suppose I'm one of the 'life's a b1tch, deal with it' type people but I know it's not always that easy. I've always just shoved everything down (although I've recently been aware of it affecting my attitude towards certain things and tried to acknowledge it) and I suppose it had to re-appear at some point, I guess now is better than later and means I can face things head on in the future. :T Work have been really good and are going to arrange my shifts around my appointment time which is a relief.:o

You don't have to feel a failure. Sometimes everything just get to you. When the black cloud descends on me, unfortunately I can't speak to my family, who would understand, and my best friend is of the 'snap out of it' school of thought. You do what you need to do.

NID - off course we catch up on the thread- can't believe how many pages there were to catch up on though.

true27 - congrats to your OH - quite a boost.

If I've missed anyone else off who needs a hug, sorry, but there was so much.

For those who read about my street on Sunday, I was talking to a neighbour earlier and she said that her mum, who also lives in the street, thinks vertical blinds are a great invention as no one can see you looking!

Have been MIA as was on an interview skills course - what a waste of time  I lost a day's pay to go on it.

No Pad for me today, so just waffling really.

Oh yes and :bdaycake:Happy Birthday Jo.

Well done Mr True! (Hope he can pass some luck onto FF, she's got an interview today too hasn't she).

I've been today to purchase my season tickets for LCFC for next year, got it for the early bird price of £350 :eek: it is one of my little luxuries though and I put money aside for it. And plus if we get promoted (wishful thinking there... :rotfl:) it'll be a bargain for a premier league season ticket! It kinda says something about me that I put cash away for my ticket each year but not for my car tax... :o

I also went all round Boots, Dunelm and TKMaxx and didn't spend anything, :A just as well really after that big outlay!

So just a little padlet today of 10p. I do have a bit more cash but trying to be careful with it.

Angelic and Niddy, can you please get a private thread next time you wanna get flirty? :rotfl: And open a window next time, all the fumes were making me lightheaded :D

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
