  • Agggghhhhhh! those pesky Capital One (the Evil 1) bods have "regretfully" advised that their interest rates have gone up to over 30%!!!!:eek::mad::eek::mad: it's just so.. so.. so... well you know what!!!! I just have to get down and return back to doing a PAD to keep them out of my hair ! - it's so unfair when I've reduced the debt by nearly 4k !(I know me'n'him spent the money but that was in the heady days of our youth and now I have learnt the ways of the mse guru -all hail the forums!)
Please Green can I be included with a PAD of £10 to the Evil 1?
I'm just going to pay it off asap with the PAD method erm... if that's ok???
I hope everyone is surviving and having a nice cheap evening!
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D

    Hi all! :)

I have Davina's high energy 5 and the super body one - you can't half tell you've done it! I like the boxing workout on the HE5, great fun! 'Super sculpt' is a killer on the legs...

I was going to empty the bank account today for the day before payday, but I bought something from co-op the other day and the money still hasn't been taken from my account so I don't know how much I can pad (no od on that account). So it's just a £1 again today please.
Off to play bejewelled and see if my farmville cabbages have grown. I'm getting fed up this collections thing though I hardly ever find anything!

    Hi everyone,

Havent been around much recently, payday tomorrow so hopefully will be able to put a chunk into the savings.

Had a pretty awful day today. The drink driver that knocked my friend down was sentenced today - he got 5 years in prison and a 3 year driving ban  . Relieved he is being punished, but to me 5 years doesnt seem long enough for killing a young girl with her whole life ahead of her.

Feels like i have taken another step back with the grieving. OH being a sweetie as usual - doing his best.

On the plus side, have managed to pick up quite a few extra hours at work. I am only contracted to 24 hours a week, but working 39 for the next few weeks - means some extra pennies for the moving house fund :D

I also had a letter from Barclaycard saying they wouldn't be issuing me a new one.

Nice of them to let you know.
i was one of the ones the other year that Egg decided wasn't good enough for them!

Me too, but I had 2 cards and one of them is still OK - <add smiley of choice>

Hugs :grouphug:to those that need them. flower at least a) they got the driver and b) he did get some punishment.

On the fitness DVD and WII fit stuff, just in case nobody had noticed, it's the same as gym membership - it's not enough to just pay it, you have to turn up occasionally. I've got all sorts of fitness DVD's and they look nice and tidy on the shelf.
