    Have you managed to empty it, im not sure if your allowed to empty anti freeze down the drains have you got an empty bottle you can put it in, then drop it off at a recycle place or garage, I thought it was poisinous.
    You shouldn't empty it onto the road, because then it will go down the clean water drains and straight into the rivers. However the toilet is a dirty water drain and the treatment works are capable of removing etylene glycol. Ask a council or a water company what to do with antifreeze and they will tell you to put it down the toilet.

    Asda = 40p/litre: Halfords = 12.8p/litre. Discuss !
    Asda screenwash concentrate.

    2.5l = £1.
    5l = £3.....

    "What's wrong with pre-mixed windscreen wash? I got 2.5 litres for £1 at Asda a few weeks ago and I'm using it now."

    Who suggested drinking it? :confused:

    Pets don't need suggestions, especially cats, who like the taste of antifreeze.

    Halford's screenwash (used that cos it's on the web !) is £4.99 for 5L, that will make up to 100L. In winter, I would suggest 5 to 1 mix = 25 Litres.

    It is on offer at the moment "3 for price of 2" = 75 Litres for £9.98 = 12.8p/litre.

    Asda = 40p/litre: Halfords = 12.8p/litre. Discuss !

    What if you are also on a water meter, you'll need to factor that cost too.

    Anyway I couldn't be doing with mixing this and that to get it right. Easier to just pour it in :beer:
  • Or just get a syringe and syringe it out

    I’d have thought if you asked they’d tell you that waste antifreeze is “hazardous waste” and must only be disposed of via a holder of the required waste management licence

    Just as idea dont know about your car but on my ford fiesta I used a turkey baste to suck the water out but you could see what's inside the container. I find a turkey baste useful to have, cough I dont mean for pregnancy ;)

    I did that because it was bunged up with washer that got slightly lumpy on my focus I can't now as it has a tube attached to a reservoir under car some where
  • 5. What should I do with my used antifreeze?[FONT=Verdana, Tahoma, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]
    Used antifreeze is considered hazardous waste, and if the Environment Agency trace improper disposal of the product back to yourself you will be liable for very heavy fines and possible prosecution. It is VERY IMPORTANT you do not just pour the used antifreeze down drains or sewers, as it can cause illness and death to organisms which consume it (including marine life, pets and humans).
