  • I'm sure he is Cat, thanks...we just don't normally have exploding/collapsing buildings in Shropshire. He works on the ALP (the big crane thing) on things like this so I don't think he'll being actually going into the building. I hope not.

There has been a gas explosion/building collapse in Shrewsbury. My DH is there and for the first time in 12 years as him being a FF, I am worried...ho hum, lets not worry about that-he DID text me and tell me to make sure I couldn't smell gas from the pipe he drilled through yesterday so he must be ok....

He will be fine Bun - he knows his stuff and you can take the opportunity to rib him when he gets in later about him seeing today the after effects of drilling through a gas pipe ;)

I'm wondering what to wear for an 80's night out, Fame get up, shellsuit, Beastie Boys get up complete with VW badge or look at the Rita, Sue and Bob too school of fashion :D

Am sure he'll be ok, but can understand how scary it must be for you xx

  • Trust me, I have not stopped taking the michael about him drilling through it. He was NOT in a good mood yesterday after finding damp and leaking flat roof in the breakfast room after tearing all the walls and ceiling down. Need new flat roof now-£1200 *gulp* I think the damo is from when we had the cavity wall insultation done-it's minimal and right by the drainage pipe. Clever twits
