This year isn't starting too well, can we go back to Jan 1st and start again?
You know we've all had this horrible cold bug thing lately, well, on new years eve fran suddenly got really poorly so he went off to bed. Got up the next morning still feeling horrible but ok to travel. So, last night he called me to say he'd suddenly developed this really painful rash on the palms of his hands and on his feet. My Skype is currently unblocked so I had a look, it's a whole load of little blister like spot, bright red. I said, it looks like that rash Lily had on her bum last week.
So, the band made him go to the ER because the poor thing could hardly walk. £4,000 later (thank god for travel insurance, it'll only cost us £100) it turns out he has hand foot and mouth disease.. that's what poor little lils must have had last week:A

oh god, Toto.....that is awful for you all. Is there anything you need to do yourself or for the kids? Is it contagious

They should grant them, but I can't go in and personally see them until the essays are due. I've emailed no reply not sure when people are back at uni. So I feel a bit stuck and I'm trying to write them as best I can but after tuesday i'm being sedated and all sorts of things are going along, I also tonsilitis at the moment! Stressful.0

Oh goodness Toto, Ryan had that when he was little, and it was horrible. The worst bit was the state of his mouth though, full of angry, raw, ulcerated spots."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Well, it's a common thing in kids, a bit like chicken pox but adults don't normally get it. It's really contagious so the band don't really want him around. God knows where lily got it from, she doesn't have much contact with other little kids and hasn't in the last couple of weeks. Poor fran is in agony though bless him.:A
