Oh Toto!
My kids have had hand foot and mouth (as apposed to foot in mouth like I normally get!) and it was wretched. Poor F!!!

And poor Lily xxxx

Like everything I think adults get it worse if they are going to get it.

Don't rely too much on those - the weather forecasts have been crap over the period. If it's anything like the week before new year - which had a similar forecast - it will snow tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday... :eek:

It's a virus - nothing else can be done but wait until it gets killed off.

Oh, and infection control...

You know we've all had this horrible cold bug thing lately, well, on new years eve fran suddenly got really poorly so he went off to bed. Got up the next morning still feeling horrible but ok to travel. So, last night he called me to say he'd suddenly developed this really painful rash on the palms of his hands and on his feet. My Skype is currently unblocked so I had a look, it's a whole load of little blister like spot, bright red. I said, it looks like that rash Lily had on her bum last week.

So, the band made him go to the ER because the poor thing could hardly walk. £4,000 later (thank god for travel insurance, it'll only cost us £100) it turns out he has hand foot and mouth disease.. that's what poor little lils must have had last week

Oh Toto you poor thing. I Fran starts to feel better soon. The main thing is he's been seen by a medical professional and have hopefully given him something to take away the pain etc.
