We use Profender spot on. Its prescription only and a bit more expensive than pills but we're then sure they actually get there dose and we don't come out of it looking like we have been in a fight. Much less stressful on the cat also

Our dog eats his with no problems
  • I use Marks & Spencer soft cheese triangles (not exactly MSE :o) it's their version of Dairylee.

It's quite soft and sticky so it is easy to cover the whole tablet, which is then mistaken for a treat

I was clueless about this until my mother demonstrated a ridiculously simple method.

All she did was open the cats mouth, pop tablet in and rubbed his throat to force him to swallow. The only tricky part might be stopping the cat from wriggling but if you're quick it won't even realise what's happened :rotfl:

Job done, i was gobsmacked and it works everytime, for dogs too!
  • I'm lucky too, with Alice I just open her mouth, put it in and hold her till it's gone. No problems so far.....touch wood! :)

Pet drugs online sellPanacur granules. You mix into their wet food, leave for a few minutes for the granules to absorb the foods flavour and cats/dogs etc eat it with no problem. My vet recommended it, I originally got mine from the vet until I found I could buy on line.
Generally you need a specific treatment for different worms ie tape worms or roundworms, some do both.

We use Panacur granules for our two cats - mixes with wet food really well (you can still see it but they don't seem to mind). To be on the safe side, we give them a little bit less food in the morning so that they eat all of the granule mix in one go.

Get your vet or vet nurse to show you the best technique and it is easy in 99.9% of cats. It is a skill that needs to be learnt though and pill givers are fantastic. There are only a handful of cats that I can't get a tablet into. Otherwise use Profender and Stronghold for fleas - gets roundworms.
  • Brussels pate. 9 out of 10 cats deem pate to be worth the sacrifice.
