Today I : -
- Bought two pairs of trousers and 2 tops for work - using a giftcard I got for my birthday last month. Used it in M&S retail outlet rather than a normal M&S and got more than I expected.
- Didn't do my usual and buy extra stuff and have to put money to it:D and in fact have £2.50 left on the card
- Went out without taking Mr Plastic - he hasn't gone out with me for over a week now
(it feels weird paying cash!)
- Walked to M&S rather than take the car so saved on petrol and got some exercise.
- Didn't buy coffee and cake when I was out: waited to come home:D

Afternoon all!
Just popping back to report today's efforts (have to do it every day to keep myself motivated)- Went food shopping and only bought what was on the list (apart from 2 teeny things) and spent just £28.50:T Half of what we normally spend!
- Tidied out and cleaned bathroom cabinets, chucked out all old medicines and manky creams, cosmetics etc and have done a stocktake on toiletries, smellies etc - have tons so no need to buy anything for a while except perhaps a face scrub in a few weeks
- Walked dog twice for free exercise
- Posted mum's b'day card with a stamp I found in my purse
- Decided to get her an M&S gift card instead of flowers so she can buy something she really wants that will last more than a few days
- Making cheese and potato pies for tea using up aging potatoes,, tomatoes and cheese before starting scoffng new food
- Joined DFW weight loss thread - its really busy
- Only spent 70p on a diet coke at the shop, looked at newspapers and decided against one and NO SWEETS!
- Will do a little bit of work on uni stuff later
- Checked banks - exactly as expected, get paid on Tuesday (not as bad as it could be for a month containing belated honeymoon, Christmas, New Year and a vet visit)
