Smartie, just read your diary and sorry you are feeling sad right now.
It sounds like you have lots going on right now, with both your relationship and money, please don't make any quick decisions. I strongly suggest posting your SOA on Wanabee tomorrow and reading the replies and deciding how you can improve your situation.
You have obviously been in this relationship for a while so think about it before you make a big choice (assuming he is not harming you in any way). You have said yourself that pregnancy has affected you a lot, remember that.
Try to keep all the good bits in persepective. However if I am on the wrong track then make sure you do the best for you and your daughter. Good luck to you all xDFW Nerd #1310 -
Sorry to hear about you family dog, its always so sad, they do become part of the family.
Glad to hear things are a bit better with your partner, do you think he is a bit stressed over the baby and is getting anxious about it, i know my hubby was anxious about baby no2 and whether he would love it as much as no1 etc, he didn't tell me at the time as he wanted to be strong for me and supportive, but told me a couple of years later, he said he was daft for worrying cos the minute he saw him he just loved him.0 -
Ohh and i got my organised mum family planner book today, only ordered it yesterday!!0

Morning, I have just read your diary and could relate to so much.
Firstly - I am so sorry about your dog, we lost ours in October after 14 years; I still miss him and think I can hear him sometimes, this is made worse by the fact that my 3 yr old constantly talks about him!
I am also sorry that you have had such a bad pregnancy. I got pregnant unexpectedly with my 3 yr old. She is dd no 4 for us and while I was glad to be pregnant, it was a surprise and definitely not something that dh would have planned. Anyway I had the worst pregnancy - constantly sick, 4 months off work, horrendous depression and like you my hormones raged. I rowed with dh soo much. I now think I had some sort of depresion before this - maybe following the birth of previous daughter and being pregnant made it worse. Anyway when it developed into full blown post natal depression after she was born, the consultants at the mother and baby unit I was referred to were furious that I wasn't referred during my pregnancy. They told me that there is so much they can do during pregnancy now. I think someone said earlier in this thread that people can be depressed during pregnancy - the problem is that midwives don't seem to be trained to look for it. Whereas post-birth, health visitors are constantly looking!! Obviously I don't know you, but ante-natal depresion could explain a lot of your behaviour. Rest assured you are not on your own. I honestly don't know how/why my dh has stayed with me after what I have put him through (although to be fair, he is far from perfect)but I guess i must be love.
Three yrs later and my depression is managed and our relationship is great, something I never thought I would be able to say 3 years ago. Now if I could just stop the kids from rowing..............

I got diagnosed when baby was about 3 months old. I had loads of different meds before I found the one that worked for me, but as I said before I was referred to my local mother and baby clinic (attached to the psych hospital whih was little off-putting), however it saved my life. I went to a regular support group with about 5 other women and realised that I wasn't a freak and lots of women suffer from this but most don't tell anyone until it gets really bad. For me it was the day I tried to run away with my baby (never had a problem with bonding with her luckily) but I did leave dh and other 3 dd's, only packed her nappies and then just walked for miles until I realised that I needed help.
Anyway, back to you. I would suggest asking for help and if the first mw/GP doesn't listen, go to another. This should be the happiest time of your klife and we live with enough guilt without our health (because it is a medical condition) adding to it.
Take care xProud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -
One of my dd's left her phone on a coach during a scholl trip and the insurance refused to pay as she left it in a public place (although it was private hire!) If I'd just said she didn't know where it was, they would have paid. So check your terms andconditions as to what they do and don't pay for. obviously I wouldn't recommend lying, but sometimes things can be decribed in different waysProud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120
