Extending my Sky+ double cable?

Hi,
In order to put my new tv on the wall where i want it, i'd have to extend my current sky+ cable as it comes in at one side of the room and i need it to be at the other.
I'm guessing the cheapest and easiest way to do this would be to buy connectors (of some sort) and buy a length of the cable.
Would this work? Or will i need to get Sky to come out and do it? Is it just co-axle or a special cable being that it's Sky+???

Normal satellite grade cable and "f " connectors, with a back to back connector for each cable.
Plenty on ebay, many already made up for the job.0 -

Looks like very poor quality cable to me, and at £22+ to do the job, very expensive.
eBay suppliers are usually a far better quality cable than that of Maplins.0 -

Never used it myself as I make my own up with foam core CATV RG59 or RG6 & Snap n Seal F Connections but my uncles used it with no bothers so far.
(He forgot that I did it for a living!)0 -
If i leave the sky+ box where it is it'd be at the opposite side of the room to the tv lol! Not much use in that!0
