Switching BB from Virgin to Plusnet

Sorry, but how can you not know who you pay your line rental to? If you want sensible advice then you need to provide basic info for people to base their suggestions on.
It's not a hassle to switch to Plusnet, but you simply can't do it unless you have a BT landline (as opposed to a TT LLU line).
Yes, Talk Talk is the line, so it looks like I am done for and will have to go back to Virgin! The homeowner has a deal regarding fellow members of the family and free calls to those also on TT, which may go kaput if the line is changed back to BT.0
