Oh dear - bad news about the stair carpet. Have you tried the OS board - they might have some good ideas....
  • setmefree - you are a superstar! I went onto the OS boards and asked the dreaded question - louisewh123 suggested using nail varnish remover. It worked brilliantly:j.

Had a massive bowl of porridge and a huge mug of tea, am all set up for a rediculously busy day of MSing and 'proper' work.

Two of my jobs today invloved buying items and paying for them at a self service till, it had to be alcohol, so a member of staff would approach me. I mamaged to find a bottle of Merlot for the exact amount I had to spend!!!:j 2 x the jobs = two bottles:j:j.

  • Me again!

I have just checked TopCashback and my AA £51.50 has tracked:j.

Just realised that we are almost three weeks into January and my grocery spends (which also include toiletries) has not yet reached £100:j. In fairness I have used quiet a few things from my freezer however I have bought things that will last for months too, like my toilet paper hoard and thich bin liners that should last the year etc.

TPA good position for the month and well done on the AA cashback; I'll need to look carefully when my RAC one comes up for renewal in May.

    MS looks profitable for you.
  • A mad 24 hours in the life of TPA – the abridged version

7.30am leave home for ‘proper job’.
12.30 leave proper job for ‘lunch break’

12.50 leave first mystery shop of the day

1.00 return from ‘lunch break’ and start afternoon of ‘proper job’
4.45 finish proper job for the day
5.15 arrive at 2nd mystery shop of the day
5.40 arrive at 3rd mystery shop of the day
6.05 arrive at 4th mystery shop of the day
6.30 arrive at 2nd part of main job
9.30 depart 2nd part of main job
    10.00 arrive home
    10.02 have a wee!
10.04 turn on computer and start inputting mystery shopping reports
11.37 decide there must be more to life - turn off computer:undecided
11.39 crawl into bed too exhausted even to brush teeth:eek:

Unsuprisingly I am exhuasted today and need a slap for being so stupid!:o

On a lighter note, did I tell you all the council 'let me off' my parking ticket?

OOH really does sound like you need more of a work life balance, yes it's probably time you slowed down.

Congrats on sorting the parking ticket.
