I have contacted the company you used, (thanks for the link) and am waiting for a quote from them.
Did you need to get a plumber to connect the water, or did they do everything (it says on their website that you need a plumber)?0 -

They did everything including sorting out the Corgi registered gas fitter for the hob and the plumber for the sink. I think one of the staff was a trained plumber.0 -
I like the sound of your gold, but cannot find it on the website...help (please!)

(There is a little of all that in everything....you know, a bit is needed a bit is wanted and then it is decided on what budget is available!)
Hope you're feeling better about things now.
I do know what you mean about the thought of spending money though, tis hard to come by sometimes, so makes you more reluctant to let it go!!
Don't let that over-shadow the excitement of getting a new kitchen though!! Just think of it as possibly adding value to your home0 -

Aww thank you, the trouble is, although it will add value I don't think it will add as much as it is going to cost:eek:. However ultimatly it is for us so it has to be right. I am excited but nervous, what if I don't like it when its in and we have spent all this money:(. Oh i'm so carp!
I managed to do four MShops yesterday (all fairly well paid:j) yesterday, as well as an extra shift. I still have to write up two of the reports (ahem, yes thats what I should be doing now but the pull of Martin:money:is always too much for me!)
Halifax money has appeared in DH bank account but is still showing as uncleared...what is going on???
I am going to look into getting a 0% CC to pay for the majority of the kitchen leaving our savings intact for now.
OK, off to make a cuppa and track down the remains of the humongous bar of toblerone I bought myself on a Mshop on the weekend:p. Then I promise I will write up the last two Mshops!

Good news:
Tea drunk, toblerone snaffled and MS's written up:rotfl:
Bad news:
It wasn't really my fault(:p), but my laptop drifted off to the alerts board, where some naught person had posted about a sale on House of Frazer bigger lady clothes. I have bought 10 items (one is a pressy) total cost £95 but I should get 5% cashback throuh Quidco. I will probably end up sending a load of them back as I am a weird shape, so will not count the spends until I know what i'm keeping!:o
Still doing well on the alcohol freeness in the week:j

 yikes . I know, pretend you're doing a mystery shop & have to act posh :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Thats me!
GG, I'm not THAT good at M. Shopping!
Talking of MSs, I managed to complete another one today and have two booked for tomorrow.:T
Hubby took the day off work and spent a small fortune:eek:. Just over £500 on floor tiles and £260 on two new tyres:eek::eek::eek:. We just need to buy the kitchen now:rotfl:.
Finished negotiations with the window firm; £3,500 for windows, fascias and soffits(sp?). Am very pleased with that, they have done a lovely job nearby so fingers crossed:).
Back to the tiles, we managed to get 20% off those so saved a further £100 there too, i'm getting better at this negotiating lark! (Tried to get a discount on the tyres too, but only managed £5 off the tracking:rotfl:...every little helps)
I am having a glass or two of red wine (no 'proper' work tomorrow) and have settled down on the sofa in my PJs with a lovely soft blanket, in front of the TV waiting for 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding' to start:p.
