I like that idea I could easily find 11 things I don't want need for 2011 will start mine with 2 stone too although for me 1 stone might be more realistic. How are you getting on with the gym? I haven't been since October really must try harder was thinking of having some sessions with a personal trainer to get me to go.
Hi TG
2 stone should be realistic as there is about 6 stone to actually go!
The gym is a no go at the moment, went to see the physio therapist at the end of November who said I should avoid the gym and swim and use an exercise bike instead.
Whilst on holiday I bought some sketchers tone ups, basically they make your base unstable, which is what I need to strengthen my knee, we walked miles n miles in Vegas and knee was better than it has been for a long time!
Exercise bike is set up in the living room - makes a nice ornament:eek:

OK, have been having a think about this and am coming at it slightly differently. I read 'The Secret' and whilst I thought a lot of it was tosh I did take on board the wisdom about positive thinking. So thinking 'I'm too fat' reinforces the 'fat' word etc. My working list of things I will achieve and the date is:
1 June I will decorate the living room and buy new sofas
2 August I will reach my target weight (the 'real' one, not the official one. I will get below 11 stone) and stay there
3 August I will have no mortgage on my house
4 August I will be fabulous at 50!!!!!
5 October I will have a garden I am proud of
6 December I will read 12 books off the BBC list
7 Ongoing I will continue sell all possible things on ebay
8 Ongoing I will start entering competitions again (& flog everything I win)
9 Ongoing I will exercise for 30 mins at least once a week
10 Ongoing I will meet up with friends at least once a month
11 Ongoing I will continue loving life & thanking the Universe for all its' giftsA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I like the idea of 11 things in 2011- off to think about mine!
gg I was meaning to read the secret- but thanks for your review! :rotfl: I think I get the general gist though you get more of what you put out - your list looks fab!0 -
Thats a good idea...... Can I include DansDad in that????
I've also had a bit of what you had TPA. On Sunday one the ladies up our yard collapsed in her tack room. Apparently her blood pressure dropped, she passed out and then had a heart attack. Her husband and I gave CPR but she had been left too long and died yesterday. Fine one minute and gone the next..... I dont know whats worse knowing its coming or suddenly....
I dont drink but could do with one....MFW 2011 No. 161 £946.54/£2000 TargetApril 9/15March 14/15

Both funerals were yesterday morning so I could only attend one. Went to the friends husbands, as I felt she needed me more, horrible choice to have to make though. The service was lovely, really moving, hundreds of people managed to attend dispite the dreadful weather.
Came home to a lovely cheque from the gas company as we have just moved suppliers and were in credit by £98:money::j, Also opened the card from the IL as I knew it would contain a significant amount of money and didn't want it just hanging around the house, they always give us cash so we can buy exactly what we want. In true TPA style I have already spent mine, ordered a lovely hanging jewellery cabinet in the hope my tidier house - de-cluttering will continue well into 2011. I would love to be co-orinated, though I would start by wearing co-ordinated jewelley and I need somewhere to put it!!
On the de-cluttering theme, I know if I can get the house tidy and keep it like that I will feel so much better - clutter in the house clutter in the mind..oh thats deep for me:rotfl:

Hubby just got this email; I thought I would share it with you...just in case!
When travelling in extreme weather conditions the government's advised everyone to take with them:
· a bottle of water
· some energy bars
· a shovel
· a hazard light and a blanket.
I looked a right idiot on the bus this morning.!!
