TPA You're a vey bad influence on me as I have been broody for more pets for ages..... The whole work thing thats how I think. 4 cats for me is no more work than 1 or 2... However 2 horses is more work!!!

I dont qualify for rescue animals as I work longer than they like....:o

Whats up with the family? Nothing bad I hope??? Hugs to you xxxx

    Me...never ever!

I personally think that animals are better off in a loving household, even of that does mean they are left for sometime on their own during week days, we don't go out during weekday evenings as we know we have left our naughty pooch during the day, my Mum has him on my long Tuesdays....and sometimes being creative with honesty might help:o

Had a really lovely day with my Mum yesterday, we had such a giggle, especially in Tescos with the double up vouchers - I had to keep going back to the customer services desk and doubling up more vouchers as mum couldn't quiet get to grips with it! Then it was ruined by me overreacting to something that my brother did that I felt was out of order - I won't say anymore as I'm still not sure if i'm more angry with him or me for getting so 'pipped' off:mad:

Anyway, today was a better day so :) (Despite the fact the cleaner cancelled on me:eek:)

One more day and its the weekend:j:jAnd boy am I looking foward to it:o

  • Hugs again TPA glad you had a nice day with Mum..... :D

Yes I do leave Long Suffering Dawg from about 815 - 345 ish when I get back from the yard :o Dont like it but have little choice.. I used to bring him with me, but he got more stressed in the car. He's getting on a bit now so sleeps all day. He has the cats and Radio 2 for company. We dont go out evenings anyday really, very rare if we do....

Ooo cleaner am sorely tempted for the new year. I just cant be a***d when I get home although I do try to keep up with it on my day off...

I hope you have a restful weekend xxx

I wasn't in anyway judging you for leaving DAWG! We leave ours from 8.30 to 4.45 some days, surely this is better than him being in kennels, or tied to a lamppost (how he was left by his previous owners ) I know its not ideal but he is fed, watered, walked at least twice daily and loved beyond belief....i've had some wine..can you tell??!! BTW he current snoring, curled up on the sofa warming my feet! Hubby has been home since 2pm!:D

I find the cleaner helps two fold.....I am the messiest home owner that ever lived, I HAVE to tidy up before cleaner comes, she then cleans and if the door bell rings the house is in an acceptable state to invite people in......cost = £15 per week.....worth every penny!(IMHO):)

I have had a lovely evening, been to a hand made jewellery party at mums, the lady that makes the jewellery is very talented, the company was good fun (other than MIL who always has a face like a slapped !!!!") managed to get MIL a birthday pressy that I know she will like! Mum got a necklace, bracelet and earring set, another necklace and a gorgeous jewelled bookmark (you need to see it to appreciate it!) as commission on the sales. Good time had by all and the lady selling made a good amount!:):T

Me, big brother, SIL, hubby, mummy and niece are all going out for a lunch time meal courtesy of Tesco voucher exchange tomorrow. Sunday am hoping for a fabulous lazy day lol.:o

I suppose I really should to make my way up the apple n pears…….OMG the dog has just FARTEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stinky poo poo! ewwwwwwwwwwww:eek:

I only think that cat farts are worse than dog farts!!! However, Old horse (link to pics via my thread!) decided it would be hilarious to guff right in my face at 545am this morning when I was doing the back straps of his rug. That woke me up! :rotfl:

  • Hi TPA, not commented on your page in a long time - really not been on the forum often enough at all which is always dangerous as you lose focus !!!
Great to see how close you are to success and weird to see you and others doing the second dog debate - same for us, but considering how long we took to settle on the one we have, choosing a 2nd could start WW3 !!!

  • Rosie - where have you been? Missed you x

I'm being REALLY lazy today, despite being offered a few mystery shops I am at home!:D

Sometimes a moochy day around the house is worth more than a few ££'s.

We are still running the dehumidifier constantly due to the leak in the loft - the electricity meter is running in overtime:mad::eek:.

Don't know whether I mentioned it before but last week I have a letter from Santander saying the 'terms and conditions' on my credit card account had changed....ok, well thats fine but this card was cancelled more than a year ago:eek:. After many phone calls and hours listenening to carpy 'on hold' music and think it is now cancelled fully, apparently when I cancelled it previously they just blocked the card not the account - why do banks have a language all of their own?

I must remember to cancel my Amazon card now I have had all the benefits:p

How sad am I, I am sat in the living room, diet coke on the side table and the dog and cat jostling for lap space with the computer, watching Neighbours - it is very sad - Ringo is dead:o

Mum had a jewellery party on Friday on we had a lovely time, such a giggle, lots of people managed to buy some gorgeous christmas pressys, for themselves and others(:p)MIL chose a necklace set for her birthday, the lady selling the jewelley made a nice amount and Mum got to choose some free stuff for hosting it. Good all round evening:)

Mananged to flood the bathroom whilst washing my hair this morning, don't quiet know what happened but I suspect I didn't have the shower curtain correctly placed:o That will be even more work for the dehumidifer then:(

Oh well, neighbours has finished I must go and sort out some bags of paperwork;)

    Ops sorry for going AWOL!

Have been busy juggling money, trying to sort out holiday money, pay of the enourmous CC bill etc:eek: We have our last two regular savers about to finish but to be honest could do with the money now:o

Went to see the physiotherapist on Thursday about my knee - am banned from the gym until its sorted. Have to use an exercise bike and go swimming:eek:. Really wished I had shaved my legs before I saw her - fat white legs are bad, but fat white hairy legs are truely unacceptable:eek: Have invested in a exercise bike suitable for over weight hairy legged women, which will hopefully be delivered on Tuesday:o

Took the dog out for a walk earlier and it was minus 5:eek: Holy cow my ears were cold.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and safe.

  • Cannot beleive I forget to tell you all - i have to dress up as a police woman for a hen night in a few weeks:eek: I don't do dressing up and i'm sure 'real' police women don't come in my size:rotfl:

In 8 sleeps time I should be in Las Vegas:D As long as we don't get snowed in first!

Some-one has been to see our leaky loft/ceiling problem and will hoepfully sort it our whilst we are on hols. It would be nice to miss all the mess.

I have finally bought hubby a Christmas pressy - a camera, not sure why but I think he has eyes on being the next David Bailey:rotfl:. Never been interested before so not sure what has floated his boat...but hay ho.

I am still debating if I want a Ipod for Christmas, If I do think I will get a classic as i'm not sure the touch is worth the extra money - however I know sod all about technology so if anyone out there has an opinion please shout and let me know. We still have £120 worth of Tesco vouchers so could commit the caridinal sin and spend them just at face value:eek:
