lost BBC channels

just speaking to daughter and she's lost BBC1/2/3 and 4 and all the radio stations even on freeview-although all other channels are fine.has anybody any suggestions??

    try switchin g it off at the electricity source - leave it off for 5 mins and then switch back on - it should reload all the receivable channels - if that fails - try retuning from the on screen menu for the freeview box.

    I suggest she re-scans/re-tunes the device to see if it will pick up the BBC programme channels.

    What do you mean by lost. Totally gone or just breaking up? If totally gone a rescan is the best option if its breaking up there could be quite a few possible solutions

    it's eastenders she was worried about

    after retuning she still hasn't got the channels back.any other suggestions?

    Is this a receiver (TV) using a rooftop aerial rather than an indoor aerial?

    If possible, take it and connect it to the main rooftop aerial that is known to work, and then retune it.
