Morning girls, totally slept in this morning, it was great!
Cinny and Lulu - yikes you're like LPS!! Mmm, haven't bought anything in Lush for ages, forgot to get any Angel Delight soap in December. Dinah is there a website where you can identify your specimens in order to write reviews?
Nice one Cinny on the savings, and who was it with the Quidco, Tink? Have to say I'm getting really excited for payday so I can pay off the OD
Right best get some work done seeing as I've lost about an hour and a half of my working day!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Hey! I have 2 things from Lush atm, not a small islands worth! I'm just a saddo that goes in and sniffs things until my head hurts. Plus I can attack my OH with the glitter from those red + gold ballistics which sends him men-tul.
When is it you get paid to clear the OD Tete? I'd be excited too!!
I'm giddy for this months Quidco, think I've got the £50 from orange but I'm not 100% sure. The random £20 for getting a quote hasn't been taken off me either - so I might get it!0 -
Jealous of your sleep-in Tete!
Do you remember that Egg (I think) credit card advert about the clever/stupid balance? I just did that! I was super clever and sorted a problem at work and e-mailed my boss to tell her how much of a brainiac I am... then dipped my ponytail in my mug of coffee! Clever/stupid balance has been restored!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Monring everyone
Haven't posted for a few days but have joined Poddle's Wibbly Bum challenge today. I also joined the Weightwatchers 3 month trial thing vis Topcashback at the weekend in an attempt ot spur me on to lose wieight....and I think it's the one that will get me there. I'm finding it motivating to document all the stuff I eat and work out my points each day, so here's hoping. I did get on the treadmill yesterday intendng on doing 20 minutes but the 10 week old puppy came up and leapt on it after 5 minutes and we both nearly broke our necks!!
As for the money stuff, it's not going too well but partly due to OH's continued car problems (he traded his in and got a 9 year old car instead but it's not taxed yet and he changed insurance companies so it's off the road until the log book and insurance documents come. Also my boiler is playing up. last night it wouldn't come on, then during the night it wouldn't go off and now it won't come on again so I'm waiting for the boiler man
Anyway, have a good day - I'm off to get another jumper to put on brrrrrrrr!!!Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
Aw Pilchard, seems never ending for you at the minute
Birdie I used to love those ads! How annoying about the ponytail though, it'll go all crusty!
Only joshing Cinny, you're not like her at all! Was just impressed at your product knowledge!
Hey Dinah, at sewing last night they were on about putting on some one-off classes on pattern drafting, to explain how clothes are 'built' in a way, so we can design our own patterns rather than rely on ready made ones - they'll do one for tops and one for skirts £50 each, if enough are interested, but verybody seemed to be. I'll be doing it I think, though not sure if I'm creative enough to think of nice ideasWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Urgh, not a good coffee day for me, just spilt it all over my desk! Grrr... I've had to find a DOTD to cheer myself up!
Sorry about the car/boiler problems Pilchard, I hope the car gets sorted soon and the boiler isn't too much to sort out! If it helps I've got timer for a boiler under my desk looking for a home!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I'm a little scared my Cinny and Lulu's Lush detection skills!
Does your brother know about your parents' money worries or is he still happy to go to uni without getting a job?
Hes planning to get one in the summer as he (finally) wants to learn to drive. They refuse to worry him with them. Thing is they're fine atm, but won't be if rates rise again.Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »Aw Pilchard, seems never ending for you at the minute
