Yay, new thread and diet challenge, well done Poddle!
Don't worry about the weird link, I've linked it here, and sometimes they don't work. Technology.
I reckon I'm gonna get really broody, but I'm hoping that because I'll see it quite a lot it will be my 'fix' for a while! And nope it's a surprise, but we think it's a boy! OH has never held a baby so I think I will be really broody when I see him holding one!

Dinah - That is some wait for the MRI scan. At least you can hit the money saving and you will save lots of money in petrol with not travelling to work.
Poddle - That link does not work.
I have updated my signature. It is nearly naked.
have been looking at a replacement for our DVD and Video players are both getting towards the last legs. This is what I am looking at (http://www.kmscomponents.com/cnmlifestyle/mediaplayer/mediaplayer.htm) and will replace both the DVD and Video units and only £99 from the manufacturer.0 -

No think we are going to concentrate on saving for a bit first. Have got the wii fit and live literally 2 minutes from lots of parks and fields i can run around. Also have Gillian Michaels DVD which is VERY good.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
had a pretty bad day today so far
got my first exam tomorrow so im getting all worked up because there is so much to learn and I came back to uni today so its the kind of bump from being at home where its all warm and I have all my things and my mum is there
then I got a call to invite me to an all day assesment interview thing for a job i really want but I have an exam that day and they said there was nothing they could do so I guess I can't get that job anymore and its one I really wantedpretty gutted because its not exactly my fault I cant go, and also I feel a bit pulled in every direction at the minute what with exams, dissertation, assignments, jobs, trying to feel safe and secure that I will have a job for next year but none of it is working and its all just making me feel a bit stressed out.
ah well! At least I'm not poorly like you Dinah! I hope your knee gets loads better soon and the MRI date being so far away is a bit of a joke!
Anyways I did have a really nice weekend (spent loads though!) with the boy. We went shopping and for dinner in York and he got loads of clothes but I was pretty good - just got 2 topshop sale dresses for £9 for both and some jewellery bits, only had to pay 60p after using up a giftcard I had! Bargain! I paid for dinner and we had to buy some boring stuff too. I didnt wear my new dress though (the asos one) I wore one of the new topshop ones as well because the boy thought it would be more approptiate ? I didnt really mind because it doesnt fit awefully well its a bit big so I'm thinking of returning it.
Also when I got back to uni I was expecting a cheque for expenses from one of the companies I interviewed for 6 weeks ago but haven't got it.. I'll ask them tomorro I guess but I did get a random £5 giftcard for HMV! I never buy anything from them but its better than nothing and nice to get in the post! I think it must have been from a competition or something0 -

Well some money news!
I have just spoken to Black Horse about the Venture Loan and they said it should have been automatically written off by the system for the £0.14. They have done it manually now so don't have to look for £0.14.
He did ask if I had a debit card to clear it. I did say you must be joking for £0.14. Will cost them more to process. Letter due in 10 working days confirming loan has been settled. I have just deleted the direct debit so their system cannot get any ideas.0 -
So are you debt free now Poolie? What's the Mrs Poolie in your sig, money you owe her or her debt?
Aw Tink, big hugs, that 'puled in all directions' feeling is the worst. 60p for two dresses and jewellery bits though!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Tink - last year of uni is always a bit stressful. That is so annoying about the interview and exam on the same day. Something else will come up so don't panic.
I have got a work exam next Monday and I feel like I have so much to learn still as well. I really don't want to revise after work and I have a headache now...but I need to.0 -
Just managed to withdraw a £15 Love2Shop voucher from Toluna! Now i know i wont recieve it for a loooong time, but i feel like im back in the game now! Didnt take long at all either. Where as i've been stuck on 30 odd quid with YouGov for over a year!
Now someone give me a kick and order me back to Dooyoo :whistle:0
