We had sports day at work yesterday, I drunk a lot of wine and did not do much sport
:rotfl: Hope you manage to sort the sofa business!
Hi Tink! Good news about the tax and house deposit refunds - eases the holiday spending a bit!Where was it you went on holiday again? (I'm rubbish at remembering things like that!)

Ha, I'm really unsure! OH prefers blunt fringe and I just don't know! I straightened my hair for the first time in ages to go out last night which made a change. Some random guy stroked my hair as he walked past - ew, creepy!
Anyone watching the Amish teenagers programme? It must be so weird for them!
ETA: Thanks for the baking tips Dinah, I reckon mine is the hot oven too cuz my Nan did her sponge straight after and turned the oven up and it did better than mine.

I saw it last week on 4OD, will catch up this week again while I'm on the cross trainer or something.
£73 from things I relisted on free listing day on ebay. Didn't expect more than maybe £5 of stuff to sell, as its all been relisted several times, so I'm chuffed to bits with that!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Evening everyone
I haven't posted in AGES but everything went by the wayside for a while. I'm going to try and get back on track ASAP, though, so back to Bingoport and doing all the surveys for me as awell as putting the stuff on ebay I keep ignoring. I decided to leave the dooyoo-ing, though, as I can never think of anything to write. I haven't entirely caught up with the thread but have read the last few pages - love the hair Cinny and I'm going to try those Crest Whitestripe things cos I want my teeth to be a bit whiter for my wedding. Glad you're getting over your knee problems Dinah and guess you're in overdrive now for your wedding? I found a great website for any of those Brides to Be out there (might already have been posted somewhere??) www.gettingmarried.co.uk It allows you to make up your own website for your wedding and it makes things so much easier cos you don't have to send out details of every hotel in the area etc. It also allows the guests to RSVP online. Mine is www.denise-and-ian.gettingmarried.co.uk (if you look then don't laugh at my pic.....I don't look my best!!!). Because we're getting married the week before Christmas I'm going to try and sort out small presents for people instead of trying to break the bank. I've decided to try and save up Amazon vouchers to get as much as I can without paying for it!!!
Anyway, better go as I'm busy working the night shift :-( xxxLet's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -

I like them! Watched it inbetween catching up on YTvids! Creepy about the guy touching your hair! Must of looked super lovely though, to warrant a total stranger wanting to touch it!
Pilchard - Don't be silly, you look lovely in that photo! Good luck with the whitestrips and your money making bits, if you have any questions about the strips just ask. I'll try my best to know the answer!
I'm not being modest about the baking though, I am really terrible at following recipes or doing things 'properly' I was taught to bake by my Great Grandma who was veryyy old school - didn't weigh anything and just chucked whatever in. So I work like that, and cut as many corners as possible!& well done on the ebay sales Dinah :T
Not feeling so great today, didn't sleep enough last night and because I skipped tea (went to the pub with OH's work friends at 'tea time', and had a stupidly massive lunch!) I feel so hungry it's turned into sickness!0 -
Morning all! Just had a quick peek there Pilchard and think that's a lovely pic! I almost cried to see your nephew will be walking you down the aisle - sounds like he's doing well!
Well done on the ebay sales Dinah, I guess the car didn't go or hasn't finished yet though? My eyes almost went square last night trawling through furniture but I've found some sofas I like and also a dining table and sideboard thing, both of which didn't sell (ended last night) - didn't bid as wasn't sure if they'll fit, but we should be getting signed and sealed today and can have another nosey later, with a tape measure, and I might send a cheeky email to see if they're still available! Very excited, hope it's as nice as I remember!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Birdie - the wedding sounds good and I thought of you while I as away... dont hate me but I went to barbie world!! it was amazing and very very pink!
What?????? Where is this magical place and have you got photos?!Glad you had a good time and you came home to money!
Havent got much time to do a really good post, work is a bit manic and noisy!
Feeling very achey from being a Pirate on Saturday, think I may have been jigging about too much in not very sensible boots! I'll post a picture tonight so you can laugh at me!
Very excited about the house Tete! When will you be moving in?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Not too sure really! OH is on about carting his mattress down tonight and sort of camping there from now on because he can't stand his parents any longer ... and I don't want him to move in before me (:o) so maybe tonight? Not sure! Will know more later I guess! Hope the pirate thing was worth the aches and pains!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Oh I forgot the big news - we sold NIMs car on Saturday! Sold it for £550 without the CD player (we bought it for £500 with the CD player 2 years ago) so we're quite pleased with that. NIM needs to call up and cancel his insurance now though.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ooh nice little profit on the car, and obv, you'll be saving loads now without having two!
Well we are officially home-letters! Very exciting! Very poor! Went to have another look in the house and still very pleased with itLeft OH to come back to work an hour ago and he's just text saying "Don't be mad but I've bought us sofas, table and chairs, washing machine and possibly a bed" !!! What on earth has he been doing? From a second hand Aladdin's Cave apparently. Luckily I trust him and his taste. THIS MEANS I GET TO CHOOSE THE FLOWERY CROCKERY!!!!!

Pilchard your wedding site is lovely, how exciting the wedding is so soon. I love the friendly tone you've used and all the details you've put in.
Dinah that is seriously good about the car - well done!
Tete - sooo exciting! I hope the stuff he's bought is nice, lol on the flowery crockery. I got my new second hand office furniture set up today and it's ace (well, new to me anyway). No more wood off-cut with ikea legs.
