After a week off I have redone my to do list. As you can see its a LOT shorter than usual (or at least its a lot less doing and a lot more 'order so and so). Impressively this is because I've gotten so much done in the last few weeks.

Aw Dinah, sorry to hear about your cat - it does suck! But you're right, you just have to make the most of her now. Even if you didn't know she had kidney failure and a short life expectancy, anything could happen in the next 5 years - I'm not sure that came out right, but hope you know what I mean.

Yay that your wedding dress arrived though! That must be so exciting (despite height issue!) and you're to-do list looks like it's mostly nice things too. Hope the recovery is going well x

Sorry to hear about your cat, poor kitty! I am sure you will make her life enjoyabl though and that is what matters.

I can't believe you can wear 5" heals normally! I am a wimp when it comes to heals. I am sure you can find some shoes that fit right with the dress that you love. Exciting that it has come, must make it all seem real.

Post knee you might need to go gentle on the heels for a few months. Swollen, painful knee doesn't sound great for your honeymoon- getting the priorities right!

I find walking in flats and low heels really hard, high heels are my comfort zone!

Bit of good money news this morning, HSBC sent me an offer that they'll balance transfer to them at 0% on my existing card for 6 months - should be more than enough time to clear the wedding overspend. So we have about £800 on that card at the moment, and I'm going to try to clear that in the next fortnight so that we can fill the whole thing with 0% balance transfered.

Right, there is £773 on the credit card as of today. So I'm going to try to clear that in July to leave us with an empty HSBC CC ready for the BT, meaning we can BT £2800 onto it at the end of the month (virgin card limit). I really wish HSBC had told me all this last week before I did most of the wedding spends, but you live and learn! The good thing is that because we're BTing within 30 days we can take cash out on the Virgin card, put that into savings ready to pay the band, photographer etc, and it won't actually cost us anymore. Really am quite chuffed!

that is good news! did HSBC just randomly send you the offer? We're shuffling some balances around at the moment, but my transfer rate for Virgin has gone up to 5% :(

I can't believe you wear 5" inch heels normally either! That would kill me!

Until I did my knee in I exclusively wore 4-6" heels... this may be an indication of why my knee is shot!

Yep they sent me it completely randomly, which is fab.

Well the NSDs in June didn't go quite as planned, I finished at 18/22. I'm still pleased with it as it definately stopped me spending somedays, but doing up a house and the wedding mean I need to spend a lot of days!
