Poddle - Don't talk about buying makeup! You wouldn't believe how badly I think I need a new lipstick. I went into town last week and was swatching loads - found the perfect one and just walked away *sniffs* Been thinking about it ever since.. how sad is that?!

Lol, Cinny - the thing is I don't even think about make up until I'm reading your blog! Bad Cinny :D

Moi?! Actually, speaking of my blog! I changed the layout last night but I'm not sure about it.. what do you all think? *click*

Sounds like you're finding some much better deals Dinah! I've always wanted to try Bare Minerals, they seem so good! Is the £25 just them trying the makeup out on you and showing you how it works? Or does it include some samples and whatnot? You could always go to your Library and see if they have the Bobbi Brown makeup manual? I've only flicked through it a couple time in Smithys but it seem pretty helpful!

I like the new layout! Quick question since you mentioned Vitapointe in there, how do you use it if that's not a daft question? I put a little blob on my hands, rub it into my hair but it makes it feel all sticky and a bit gross? It feels nice the next day though! How do I make it feel nice the day I apply it?!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Birdie - I just rub a pea sized amount onto my fingertips (if that makes sense, I'm rubbish at explaining!) then run it through the ends of my hair when I've finished styling it. If I use too much it makes it feel a bit nasty though. Glad you like the layout, I think I'm starting to prefer it to the old one. Just seems a lot cleaner!

Dinah, this made me chuckle - you were just name checked (sort of) on another thread, at least I think this is you:

"I sawa thread on here just now (can't remember who posted it). But it's a woman who's boyfriend agreed to move over from Ireland to be with her if she can get out of debt. Sound familiar to my situation, my girlfriend refuses for us to become anything more serious until I've cleared my debts off. this is the biggest incentive I have now."

See, you're inspiring people left, right and centre!

Lol always nice to know my ramblings are having a positive impact somewhere :D

Have priced up the train for NIM - £2.90 return to get to work, which I think is pretty fab. So he's definately doing that come October!

Guess I'm ready as I'm going to get. Have lots of boxes of 'to list' stuff organised to keep me busy.

Heard today that the council I work for has started monitoring internet use, basically instead of making people redundant at random they're looking to get rid of people who aren't focussed on their job during work hours. So I won't be on much when I'm back at work!

Was looking at some Benefit stuff today to practice my own makeup just in case, I added a few bits to the online basket and it came to £137!!! So I looked on ebay and got the same stuff, same sizes, new and sealed for a total of £28 including delivery.

Thats a great saving on the makeup. I'd personally be getting someone to do it for me too, but thats because i am useless at putting the stuff on! :D

I have a day off on Saturday, its my nieces 4th birthday, but i also have a wedding to go to, so need to get something to wear to that...its smart casual and its in a registry office...have no idea what to buy! Finishing work early on Sunday to take the kids out for the day, so looking forward to that too. Just hope the weather stays as lovely as it is!

Just popping in to say best of luck with your op xx
