Nice presents Dinah! I couldn't do something like that as I have horrific handwriting so I'd just ruin them!
It's good that the physio has referred you to the surgeon, that's what you wanted and with any luck you'll be OK by the wedding if they get a move on!
Yay to Mammy NIM coming to visit, that should be fun!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Hehe, that's a good idea, it'll numb a different kind of pain! Why's she coming? Or is it just a random visit to see her baby?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Have you seen the thread on making your groom a 'getting ready' box for the morning of the wedding Birdie? I'm loving it, I'm buying him a vintage pocket watch and getting it engraved as his proper wedding present, but I'm going to put the book in the box, with the watch and a note that says 'so you get there on time', then little bits like a new razor, a disposable camera to capture his last hours of single life, these because they made me laugh, an almost empty tube of rolos just containing one, chewing gum, aftershave, a little tub of his hair goo, red bull, tissues, maybe a mini whiskey, I've emailed the rugby club he supports and asked if there is any chance of a signed piccie, any other ideas?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

They look amazing Dinah!!
I love the theme of your wedding, it sounds like it's going to be fan-tab-ulous!
The wedding gifts look really lovely though, something really unique they'll be able to keep forever. The idea of the getting ready box is really cute, those socks are amazing!!0 -
Lets not talk about how badly my to do list went last week. I don't even dare look at it! I always do this - one week good one week eek! So, this ought to be a good week, lets see! Aiming for:
- Write to surveyors company
- List 2 bits of software on NIMs Amazon account to build him a feedback rating
- List Tesco greenhouses on Ebay
- Post all sold ebay parcels (made £59 last night!)
- Post necklace back to USA
- Write up cake disaster on blog
- Write up travelling info/contacts for hire cars etc on Irish tab, local hotels, the menu, the giftlist stuff, and email to nice invite lady
- Write up invite list for hen/stag do with contact details to send to maid of honor.
- Finish 'Claudia - Daughter of Rome'
- Do 2 Vine reviews
- Order some more flooring samples to grandads house
- 75
- Finish taking up denim skirt
- Remember to ask in sewing class how to do button holes
- Make a decent start onto one of the two maxi dresses I'm working on
- Catch up on all the blogs!
- Start comping again
As we're exchanging on the house either tomorrow or Wednesday, I can finally start thinking about decorating! I've been really struggling to think of what to do with the kitchen, as the units are black gloss, but I think white is too harsh with it. Then I found this,
which I think is pretty cool with the bronze tiles and cream walls, so might go for it. I'll post a link to the house for anyone who hasn't yet seen it once the solicitor confirms we have exchanged.
I've also started looking for wooden flooring for the lounge and two downstairs bedrooms. In total its about 42m squared, so probably looking at around £700 minimum, which is okay. We also called a bloke we know who is a builder (babysit for his adorable kids) and asked if he was free/how much it would be for him to put the velux, move a wall and fit a bathroom, to which he said about £1500, which is fab, so I'll need to look for a bathroom suite too once I decide what I want (want freestanding bath, but then where do you stand your shampoo?!).
Even more exciting - the contact has decided he is going to run with my product! I don't have a clue what this means for me in monetary terms, as I'm not able to put anything financially into the product and he is doing all the design, development and production I'm unlikely to have an even share, but I'm meeting with him probably next Monday or Tuesday to discuss the development and see what we're doing to do with it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
