Hi all, I have made a shepards pie today from the left over lamb from yesterday and listed 5 more items on ebay. Oh very MSE me thinks.
Question:- Do you think it is worth selling something for 99p because after ebay fees and PP fees it is a lot less?

I really should be marker coursework but I am far to busy procrastinating (sp?) and as soon as I finish that job I really will start to mark.

Lots of exciting news from you Dinah!

I love the idea of the box for NIM on your wedding day!

Hope that everything goes smoothly with the exchange of contracts.

Sounds very intriguing about the product. Let us know how the meeting goes.

For anyone still ebaying, I've just had an email through that the 8th and 9th May are free listings days. Ebay are even being really generous with their terms for once, so it can be any start price, you can have made them in turbolister previously, or they can be relistings, so anyone thinking about clearing some stuff - nows the time :D

In other news I finished my cotton maxi dress. You can't see the material all that well but its this. I am beyond chuffed with it. There is not an error on it I can see, and I'm super critical, and I wore it to a hen party dinner last night and five people asked where I got it!!!

Not touched since last week - I really wanted to make this one (plus I wussed out a bit!) No doubt Sally will make me start it tonight though. Its the idea of sewing 4 metre lenths at once that scares me, if I wobble at the start its a lot of stiches to unpick! Hows yours going?

It hasn't been to be honest, I sewed a bit then got a bit stuck again, then rethreaded my machine in red to make a cushion cover! Got my grey thread with me today though so MIGHT have a go on one of the class machines and make some headway. My problem is I get bored halfway through a project and just want to start the next one (not sure what it'll be in this case though!) ... What do you reckon to this jersey fabric for a summer maxi dress?

Oooh its lovely. And with such a busy pattern so long as all the shapes were the right way up you wouldnt need to worry about matching them on the seams and all that rubbish. That bloke always has great prices too, I've used him a couple of times.

The fabric I used for my maxi dress, the jersey one, I noticed it was on the cover in a different style of a early issue of Sew magazine the other day! In the back where the subscription offers are and it showed you old front covers - I did a complete double take!
