Good going Dippy! I've just written a review, phew, I'm glad! At least I'll have a little movement on the weigh-in next week!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

A few people have mentioned wanting more Tesco points, so I'll try to bring offers I become aware of here. This one is not a straight up earner, but good if you were buying anyway.

Basically it's £40 of Tesco clothes for £30, plus a bonus £20 of points, making it either £10 for £40 of clothes, or £30 of clothes and £20 towards your holiday/rings etc. Only one of the 500 points codes seems to work per order. I'm not big on Tesco clothes as it all seems to be cut HUGE (the 8s are usually big on me!) but I ordered NIM some reduced work shirts and an Ireland rugby polo shirt as a pressie, and then a nauticalish dress for me.

Bit of house progression today. NIMs dad is sending the deposit over tomorrow. While we were hoping the rate would get better, it hasn't, and he goes to China for a month tomorrow and we need the money before he goes as we may well exchange and complete within the next month. So my bank account which currently contains £27.73 is about to get about £22,000 healthier!

I've altered and updated my medals challenges a little for the year. Firstly the books went. I can't cut down books and clothes at once, it breaks me. And I've already bought about 30 books this year although no fiction ones only baking and business start up ones, which is a step in the right direction.

I've also got rid of the Japan savings, as I do not think this is possible at the same time as the wedding. This can be my 2011 challenge since we'd still ideally like to go next year. The most important thing now is being as debt free as possible after the wedding/buying the house/buying stuff to put in the house!

Secretly I'd like to get another £700 total Tesco vouchers this year, but I think that's pushing it even for me! I've kept the original target of £500 (only £146.50 to go!), and if we beat it, fab.

I finally totted up all my extra income so far this year. I'm over the bronze goal of £1000, which is good, but I'm still only at about half what I was last year. This means we have a very slim chance of saving all the wedding/house money in time. I'm thinking an Ebay weekend might be in order.
