:T You're doing s well IF, payday will be here before you know it and a whole new shiny month to budget for.
I'm still doing well (inspired by you) made an inventory of all toiletries and I shouldn't need any this year probably except perhaps conditioner.
Pleased to hear that OH helped out yesterday, even if you did have to havea go:D0 -
Crikey you're up and at it early!
If you've got £105.94 in your acct is that the HSBC but you're £100 o/d in your bills a/c so that's your nat west bills account. Have I got it right? Are you o/d because you forgot some bills or are you paying off a historic overdraft gradually?
Either way you're doing fantastically and decluttering and slimming at the same time as working full time and mothering your kids. Phew.
I think I've worked it out. I went to Argos in Mid-December to get the kids Xmas presents and I forgot to move the money across (that was £89.98). When CTC goes in on Thursday I will be £90.30 overdrawn so I guess that is my answer. (I've transferred money from my savings account now so I'm not overdrawn any more).
Yes, the £105.94 is in my HSBC account.Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -
Days to payday: 3
Money in bank : £105.94
Money in purse: £12.10 + 6.00 in a separate purse for bus fares.
Grand Total: £124.54
Money spent since last update:.£7.70
£3.00 bus fare
£2.20 - DS1 for sausage sandwich / bun at school cos he woke up too late to have breakfast at home (GRRR @ DH!!!)
£1.00 - Collection at work (retirement)
£1.50 - DS2 breakfast club (he doesn't normally go, but DH| didn't want to risk being late for work today)
Grocery budget: £280.00 / £221.26 spent / £58.74 remaining
Petrol Budget: £110.00 / £105.79 spent / £4.21 remaining
My bus fare budget: £39 / £6.00 remaining
Everything else budget: £297.67 / £55.59
Have done my budget for next month which makes depressing reading! There are five Fridays / Saturdays / Sundays which costs me an extra £14.40, I need a full bus pass, DS1 is at school for 21 days (ie £21 bus fare home), four full weeks of school dinners (£29), school football subs are due (£15) ditto cubs (£10), five Saturday's means an extra weekends shopping, so all in all for 'everything else money' I'm left with £120! It's a good job I've got some money leftover from this month. Also DH's birthday & DS2's birthdays are in February and when I was clearing out my paperwork I discovered car insurance is due for renewal in March. I really, really don't want to have to resort to my savings for car insurance, as I was hoping to save that for tax / service / MOT in August.
One poll - 2 @ 10p done (£4.10 balance now). There was another one but it was far too long for 10p the cheeky sods.
Mystery shopping - there are some pubs I could do, but it has to be done before the end of the week so I'm not taking them.Start Date: 27/11/2010

OPERATION FATBUSTING
Not good. Completely forgot to go to WW last night(!) and am in the next stone up bracket as of this morning (V V bad). Also someone brought in a huge tin of misshaped biscuits and a box of haribos (they didn’t last long)
OPERATION CLUTTERBUSTING (AIMS FOR TODAY)- Do dailies.
- Find five items to leave the house.
- I feel like giving myself the day off from decluttering the kitchen
Don’t have to go anywhere or spend anything today. Have found myself in charge of a retirement collection at work, which I am mad as hell about. I HATE asking people for money, and in the past when I have done collections and it’s not been at a round figure, I have always ended up forking out my own money to buy the card, buy the wrapping paper as well as rounding it up – well, not this time!
OPERATION BOOKWORM
Finished “The Timewaster Diaries” which is my 2nd book read this year! Haven’t started a new one yet, and probably wont as Tuesday’s are Magazine days (Wayhay!!!).Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42

Hi IF, I've just found your diary & read through from start to finish & now feel very inspired!! Doing all that as well as looking after a family makes me feel very bad I can't even look after myself!! I started my diary only last week and am already flagging so I think this might just be the kick up the backside I need!!
I also have a monthly pass for WW but due to xmas, new year & cancellations due to snow I haven't been for 4 weeks! Back to my meeting tomorrow though so fingers crossed!!
Right, I want to get home & start doing some sorting now I've read that!! :rotfl:2019 will be my year!!0 -
I'm nearly as excited by your payday as if the money was going into my account.

No decent mystery shopping jobs, all pubs over the next day or so that I wouldn't be confident in being able to get to.
Nothing of interest via e-mail.
No surveys - only a prize one (and I never seem to win prizes but I did it anyway)
When is this vile weather ever going to end. It's a good job I spent so much time ice skating in my teens because it's stood me in good stead for balancing on the ice that was all over West Yorkshire today. It's been so dangerous driving and there's been hundreds of minor accidents and bumps due to the black ice. I even begged DH to use public transport to get to work (he walked saving me £4) and I kept eldest DS off because I knew buses wouldn't get near his school today.Start Date: 27/11/2010

I woke up dreaming I was slipping! Not the usual jerks when asleep but a distinct slip.
Still looking good. Seems you'll have something over to put away for the car insurance (I think it was?)CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -

I'm very chuffed that I have got so much money left. I was listening to the girls at work today (this is young lasses who still live at home) saying they were down to their last £10, and one of them couldn't even afford to buy lunch today etc.. and here's me with £100 left. "But you earn more than we do" they said "Yes, and I pay out a damn sight more too!".
Sadly I am gonna have to leave it in my HSBC account and consolidate it with this month's money, as I have shed loads to pay out this month and I'm left with less than £150 'everything else money' and I just KNOW I will go over that so I'll keep this as a buffer.
Money left over in my 'stripey purse' (the one where I keep all my change to hand for kids activities / bus fares / paper bill = £7.50!!! So that can go towards my £365 in 365 money. I'm usually spot on with what is in there so it's a surprise to have anything left. I think it's from DS1 not having to get the bus.
Mystery shopping...only four jobs available, none of which I want to do.
Surveys: GFK 'What I buy' had two surveys although they're very long winded and only offer entry into prize draws....
Quidco: Money still tracking or validated, nowt received.
One poll: 50p worth of surveys today, I was eligible for them all too!Start Date: 27/11/2010
