Just go to www.bookcrossing.com and register. Whenever you have finished reading a book you simply enter its ibn number onto the site and it will give you a unique bookcrossing id number which you write in the book along with the web address you then leave it in a public place for someone else to find and hopefully that person will then register it at the site and you can track its journey! I usually leave a post it note with all the info on the front of the book as well as having written inside.0

I used the self-scan till and when the supervisor saw my leaflets, she gave me a moderate hard time until I produced the 3 books out of my shopping bag.
They are on the look out as people have been using the tokens but not buying the books!
MSE'r kindly sent me some (loads!!) of Quick Read vouchers which I am keen to exchange for some good "reads" at Tescos today. Is there a sign up showing which books I can use the vouchers against? How much do they usually cost? Is there a big selection? Is there a limit to how many you can buy (with vouchers)? I would like to get a couple of extra to share/donate, etc.
Just went to a big Tescos and could find no "quick reads"
I will try some books shops - and maybe even ask someone!!!

We've just had a letter at work asking for school equipment for a school in Ghana and so I've donated the pens, pencils, rubbers and bookmarks that I got in my pack, so if anyone's looking for a home for any of their extras, PM me for my address.
Thanks

I couldn't agree more, I use the vouchers in Tesco, I use the the pens and pencils etc at school for my pupils. I get so bored with all the finger pointing and trying to seem better than others on here. Surely you are all old enough to see that different people have different opinions and points of view, whats the point in having a go at each other about it, gawd!!!!0 -

The point is you are ripping off a registered charity i.e. NIACE (National Institute for Adult Continuing Education). Why should they pay for your groceries? Think about it...0 -
Afraid I have to agree, no harm in using some to get money off your shopping, but having 600????? and you dont even have a Tescos or Asda near you?? why apply for that many in the first place if your not intending to use them on books?? No offence meant, but it means other people who genuinely want to use them for the purpose intended probably missed out, and your 600 dont actually sound like there much use to you!
And waitrose do accept them, someone on another thread used some recently
