Ain't it funny how some people just love the sound of their own voices?:D

(And are completely oblivious to when their boring the pants off everyone else? :rotfl:)
I know what you mean. Many, many times I have posted on here to that effect, on how some people just ego post. Why, even I, on occasions have almost slipped into that trap. But I take great care, through thoughtful and intelligent editing, to provide only top class material which will inform and amuse. A lesson that I hope others can learn from.

My advice to those who will post constantly, and I do not single out any one poster for that, is to remember a little goes a long way. A short snappy statement accompanied by a suitable emoticon will convey as much as 1,000 words of writing. If you have more to say then best to split it into Twitter sized chunks, to ensure those that find reading laborious, or perhaps have English as a second language, are able to grasp the important concepts.

Above all, do not drone on and on. This is a forum for dipping into, not wading through. Although it may be tempting to whitter on for pages, in some attempt to appear more interesting than you really are, or deliver some clumsy and contrived joke - I find that careful construction of the prose to deliver the message as simply and accessibly as possible will result in a better acceptance of the message.

This is particularly important when drafting a statement for the bulls, who by and large seem to have a limited ability to input data. Keep it short, snappy, sweet, and above all polite - and the forum will respond with kindness.

    I remain, sir, yours,

    Mr.Brown 2010.

    Hello you.

Unfortunately hostilities were resumed in the Brown household before the end of the Winter break, so there's not been much stocking filling in evidence this year.

I briefly thought I had a life outside of the forum. But my wife has pointed out that I don't.

Does anyone else find the long Winter break a bit of a strain on relationships?

You can always move in with me, a little light housework is all that is required.

All joking aside, it is difficult being difficult.
