    Well I survived:rotfl:

Had an awful headache when I got back and went to bed for a lie down, no sleep unfortunately as dog started chewing on her bone, then DD started watching a film with the volume up loud so I shut the door and then blow me, the telephone rung which was in the bedroom:mad:

Not sure how much was spent but it was a lot - everything was needed and I do have the budget for it.
DD went for her bra fitting and she is now a 36C:eek: - she is only 14 and has a body that brings males swarming. She is curvy and I know the media portray women as having to be very skinny etc and I do worry about her but she actually has a lot of body confidence which I am pleased about.
None of my family are stick thin (well except DS who takes after his biological father) and none of us moan about our weight, we just embrace it and carry on with our lives so I am pleased that DD feels the same way. Its so hard bringing up girls in this day and age.

I know that you mean CCL, DD wants Huarache trainers - £100 minimum:eek:
Luckily no where in store or online had her size so we have settled for some other Nikes, only £60:eek: and this is just for PE/games:eek:

My first proper day off that does not involve shopping - I need to clean the oven shelves and the oven, they have been soaking in Ovenrpide for 3 days:eek:

I also have lots of housework to do so I will do 30 mins of housework and 30mins on the computer as I have found some interesting diaries on here and some blogs to read:j

I managed to pay my car insurance all in one lump sum in July too.
My money is back to rock bottom and my debts huge, as the majority of them are because of DS disaster of a life, and Biggests wedding.
So I am going back to the bottom rung of the ladder and starting all my challenges etc again. But I am exhausted at the thought of it all!
Keep putting all my jobs off though, trying to muster the energy.
Reading your post reminds me there are so many of us cheering each other along, and I feel guilty that I have not achieved anything but faff on the computer for the last two hours!

I'm so sorry you are feeling down in the dumps today.
Is Biggest still paying you back each month?

Will DS be able to pay you back eventually? Surely he should have been paid from his new job by now?

Did you inform Housing Benefits that the accounts you gave them were out by quite a few thousand?

I do feel so sorry for you Mooloo, I know its hard to say no to your children but what if you did say no? what would actually happen?
I have recently been seeing more clients at work who are in huge deficit each month and borrow from family (who give money freely) but that has just led them to stay in the same cycle of debt as they have always done. This money being borrowed is to pay for food and essentials as wages have been spent on debts. I always think that if the family had just said no then they would have found help for their debts elsewhere and the cycle would not have been there for years and could have been nipped in the bud.
I worry that you will be 90 and still working to fund your family - I want you to retire to Portugal eventually.

Why shouldn't you have a good faff on the computer? You are so busy with everyone and the business that you need to take time for yourself.
My 30 mins on the computer and 30mins of housework is going well (although I have not started the oven shelves and need to go to vets in the next hour so will have to wait until I get back)

We are all willing you on Mooloo and are right next to you with our support.
  • Ohh sounds busy on here - thanks for your popping over on my wee diary :) much appreciate it.

My DD is 21 and very body confident thankfully - its a minefield. She also does a pole class for exercise through the uni and MY does she get some stick for that. But, she's stuck with it as she loves it.

    Curvy girls rock.

XOXOX I often feel guilty about computer time but TBH why not its largely free and why not.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

I hope he will, but he gets his first pay on Friday and owes so much everywhere, at the moment.
Did you inform Housing Benefits that the accounts you gave them were out by quite a few thousand?
actually I haven't EE. I will print it out tomorrow at work and write a covering letter. Been so busy I totally missed that one

I so want my plans for Portugal too. But see it slipping away everyday that I help the family. I wish their Dad was able to help more. But he seems to be as bad as them.
    I struggle to say no.

I will get there, but hopefully before I am 70 not 90.
Although my original deadline was 55 - so last year
