    holy moly!!!

Just had a nosey on the MFW board and had a play with the mortgage calculator...if, when I'm finally DF, I paid the amount I pay off the debt into mortgage overpayments it'd take NINE YEARS off my mortgage!!!

    *swoons and falls over*

Hmm....perhaps yet another LBM for me...they're lining up like lights around a dressing room mirror (oooh - glamourous!!)

    Evenin' all :)

Just wondering what to do tonight...could do tidying (snore) or I could do some scrapbooking...hmm...pretty papers

Scrapping it is then! Got a good deal through argos photos (100 free prints, pay p&p 1.99) so have some fresh photos to use. Better than spending too much time on the net, which always tempts me to spend money (reading blogs etc about lovely things!)

Hope you're all having a lovely friday.

Oh pants!!! I just picked up the laptop (by the screen - me bad) and it's broken it!! The mechanism that when you close it and it switches to standby locks if I try to close it and it looks far too much like it's going to snap the edge off....whoopsies. Going to have to go to the IT blokes at work on Monday shamefaced...it's a work laptop too.

    Eek.

    :)

Well, as long as I don't try to shut the laptop, it'll be ok for now!

I did have fun last night thanks - then went to bed with a bed I've not read before and proceeded to read it all - which was fab, but has meant bleary eyes this morning! I'm running a bath, so hopefully that'll ease the aches in back and neck and then I can be a whirling dirvish around the house (hah!!).

Also got to source and book some new tyres for the car...seems the cheapest is about 58 quid each fitted, don't want to pay it but it's necessary! Got a little car maintenance savings so will be able to draw on that too.

Hope all are well this overcast Saturday.

    Evening all

Not long back from a training workshop in Birmingham (drove there and back today so am rather shattered!!) and the very early start shocked me :) But am really glad I did it as it is the start of my exam marking...had to do this course and then I'll be booking into a hotel the night before hte standardisation meeting in Warwick (ish) which I'd never be able to drive to for 9am on a weekday!

The money from that should pay for a few things -MOT, a little hol for the kids (and me) somewhere (perhaps a caravan) and the back to school clothes for the kids come September. A weight off my mind about those costs anyway. Today should pay for a new tyre the car needs and I made a little on the travel as it's 40p a mile, so although wear and tear on the car, got an extra 20 quid for that when it comes through, so that'll be handy for half term spending.

Need to lever myself off the sofa however, as have flopped since getting home and need to sort the house!!
