Merlin annual pass half price, £75

I am planning to buy two gift vouchers at £75 and use Tesco clubcard points £37.50 each to get a total of 4 merlin passes.
I have done a lot of research as to if it was worth buying my youngest. (just turned 3yrs) a pass at £75 or not.
As she is under 1 meter tall we would only need to pay for her to get into legoland and the sealife centers.
Using clubcard points 1 annual pass for legoland is £18 of points and sealife center annual pass is £15.
We live in south london so can visit chessington, thorpe park, legoland, madame T's and london eye, sealife london and brighton loads and my mum lives in midlands so can use warwick castle, birmingham sealife and alton towers when we visit her.
So for a family of 5 it's going to cost us £150 for two gift vouchersand £93 worth of tesco clubcard vouchers.:j
Here is what i decided to do but as someone says it may depend on which parks you are close too and will visit most.0 -

Can anyone help, on Sealife site it says admittance after 3pm during August to some Londaon attractions but on Tussards site it says no admittance in August. Which is correct?Jan Grocery challenge

My son receives DLA and I was planning to use tesco points for two passes for him and my other son. Will it not be possible to swop the tesco voucher for the disabled annual pass? I am very surprised if this is not the case.
Also at the Madame Tussards and ALton Tower sites there is no mention of a disabled pass so I am a bit puzzled as to why this is not the case. If i can not use my tesco voucher I would like to use this offer.0 -
sorry! I must be going blind...but can't see it!:o
what have people actually done??? i think most people are considering buying a pass for their 4 yr olds...what about a just-turned-3?
I definitely would not buy any pass for a small just-turned 3 year old.
Stick him in his buggy in the queue, that's what I did with my son until he was five (he is small and could not have gone on many rides at many venues).
Yes it's wrong but it's moneysaving!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would take this to mean a child under the age of 3, as it says 2 year olds and under so includes 2 year olds and does not specify for example 2 years and 4 months, just all 2 year olds.matt987106 wrote: »how would people interrupt this ? ? ?
my daughter was 2 in oct, so she is 2 years old
she is infact 2 years 4 months old
free or not ? ? ?0 -
I may well write to Merlin asking them to clarify the situation with the current Annual Passes already issued prior to the terms & conditions being changed as to whether the new rules apply or not ??
Also i get the feeling anyone who has purchased a gift voucher/pass since 01 Jan may still get the old pass, so will it come with the old t's & c's ?? This happend before when the passes switched from Tussauds Annual Pass to Merlin Annual Pass a couple of years ago.
Those with the old didnt get what was on the new & so on & son on ....I usually like to drink my whisky neat :cool2:0 -

The family pass is that price all year, the limited half price offer does make the family pass less attractive at the moment.0
