£50 M&S vouchers............very nice indeed. Decisions for me would be a bit like the advert "daddy or chips" but it would be "clothes or food"! Glad you got the vouchers ok.
Sounds like you had a good night out too the other night and done on a budget - well done you.0 -
Read about your M&S vouchers on the Frugal thread, probably better than getting the hamper.
dine in for two can be really good value, depending on what you get. I give the wine away as a present so see it as ore dine in for a fiver.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Money
Spends = £0
PAD = £57
Entertainment = £2.43
Groceries = £139.02 (Mr Fresian is NOT coming to Asda again as he made me buy bread which was £1.29 :eek: The most expensive I had bought this month so far had been about 65p and that was whoopsied!)
Purse (General spending) = £8.47, £50 M&S vouchers
Purse (£20 Challenge) = £12.40, planning on using this on a night out on Wednesday
There are 15 days till payday.
Not a lot to report from the weekend - we went out with Mr Fresian's mum for lunch on Saturday as she was down visiting for the day (From the North, she must be mad!) She bought us lunch so it was a frugal day with only milk and bread bought and cheese on toast for dinner.
Yesterday the furthest we went was Asda (As per the aforementioned moan about Mr F!) and we had yummy roast chicken for tea so Mr Fresian will be cooking yummy things with leftovers.
Better run - only in work 3 days this week and aiming on not being late!

I refuse to buy bread over £1! Wish could buy it cheaper!
Quick question - whoopsied bread, usually its BBF date is the date of purchase right? so how do you make it last/stay fresh?** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)
January 2012 :mad: = £14,338.75 (not including OD)0 -

I hear you. Will give it a go.
MrGG whipped up some lovely mushrooms the other day, from extras I had frozen! Check us out, all MSE and waste not want not!** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

Morning all!
It was NSD #15 of 2010 in Fresian Towers yesterday and am aiming for another one today (I'm hoping Mr Fresian buys milk and bread)
Yesterday was another Good Post Day - I received a Winnie The Pooh print from a competition I must have entered months ago. I'm going to have it framed and give it to one of our friends - her second baby is due this month so she can put it in the babys room.
I also got my Clubcard vouchers through - £22.50 thanks to a mobile I got which was 2000 extra points. They don't seem to have added on the points from my credit card though - does anyone know how these are done?
I have redeemed £10 of deals - two tickets to Edinburgh Zoo to be used by the end of the month (Woo!) and one Cineworld token, which means I can take Mr Fresian to the movies at no cost as I have my cinema pass. He's not a huge fan of crowds, so Orange Wednesdays are out for us.
Not a lot else to report really...dinner last night was using up the leftover chicken and was very tasty, thanks to Mr F for that! Tonight I'm off to the pictures so I'm having Freezer Surprise for dinner when I get home
The current balance in my savings account is £1718, which means I have plenty of cash for the spare room project, but I'm going to try and do it as cheaply as possible as ultimately that is my debt-clearing account.
Need to get ready for work now, have a good day all!

Morninf F_F, long time lurker. When we had a Tesco cc they paid under a completely separate letter. If you look on the back of the mailing it breaks down where all the points come from, if nothing is in the Tesco Finance box you need to ring them and check if it will come separately or whether they havent linked your old clubcard to the cc.
Hope this helps!

It also doesn't show the points I gained by shopping in Tesco itself (Only about £50 per month but they do say Every Little Helps!!) I'll call at lunchtime if I can find the phone number - I took the vouchers and shredded the rest of the mailing. D'oh!
Yeah, sounds like you will need to give them a call. My usual Tesco spends from the normal clubcard and my credit card come together on the same statement, but I think I had to link up the credit card when I got it to my usual clubcard IYSWIM. Then on my statement it shows all the different spends, i.e. from Tesco groceries, fuel, finance etc. If you can't get the number let me know as I have my last statement. I never knew they were due out already though, so looking forward to getting mine now. :rotfl:0
