    Well done on the savings in Jan F_F!

    I got some whoopsies in Morrisons last night but don't think I have the hang of it, ended up with a fruit bun, 25p down from 87p, chocolate coconut biscuits, 75p down from 99p and light-bulbs which didn't have a before price but were 50p for a box of 4 (but only 3 in it). Result I have gorged myself on fruit bun and choccie biccies, really meant to buy some actual food!
  • Cat pooping in shower ? maybe you should trying actual toilet training? that would be clever...although yo'd had to flush after him as I doubt little paws have the strength!

    Cat uses loo....

    Cat flushes loo....

    Sadly neither of these are mine :(
  • Now that's a clever kitty......wonder if you can teach an old cat that trick?!

    Any news on the job search F_F?
    I did find a job to apply for, but decided in the end not to - it's outside Edinburgh and I would really need a car in order to travel there daily, especially if I was working outwith the 9-5 routine. Train would be too expensive I think, and I have a twenty minute journey to the train station to add on too :( I'm sure something will come up :D

    Money

    No money in Spends account
    PAD = £87.07
    Entertainment = £14.05 (I'm going to fly over budget this month as I have a night out tomorrow, Wednesday, the end of the month and my usual monthly dinner with my friends to pay for from this!)
    Groceries = £153.18

    There is £4.93 in my purse for budget spending (e.g. milk, bread etc) and £18.40 left in my £20 note challenge - I had to buy a get well card for my uncle, he's getting his leg amputated today :eek:

    Nothing else to report really. I spent another £5.07 in Morrisons yesterday, but for this I got apples, milk, 15 eggs (not happy hens, but at the moment I can't choose that), bread (whoopsied to 29p) and two mini quiches reduced to 34p each. I'm getting quite good at only going in for essentials and not buying whoopsies unless they're a real bargain for us.

    Thanks Hypno :T There's not really a good way it can go as he's been resisting losing his leg, but hopefully he will recover well. I'm going to speak to my dad later and try to figure out the practicalities of me visiting him in Inverness.

    Must go - late again :o

  • I have had a think about whoopsies too. Sometmes they really are not a bargain AT ALL. So unless its reduced to dirt cheap, then yes, if we need it or its useful, or we can afford it then we should buy it.

    F_F - hope all is well, thoughts go out to you and your uncle.
