Sorry to hear you're feeling so "Meh" - what an apt word.
Any word on the jobs? I know what it's like to feel carp about work and when it's that bad, another job is the only solution. Hope something turns up shortly.
Don't go over board on the flapjacksHope tomorrow is a brighter day

Morning all!
It's Hump Day, so that's a reason to be cheerful!
Yesterday was a good day for frugality - I charged my phone at work instead of at home and also had a NSD as I brought my own food with me. The flapjacks would have been a frugal treat but the bloody things stuck to the bottom of the tray because I forgot to grease it. Harrumph. I'm now up to 11 NSDs for the month which is really good for me as it means I have avoided the supermarket for 11 days. I used to not count what I bought there in terms of my NSDs but now I know that's cheating
Today will be a spend day as I'm off out for dinner after work. We're going to a Carvery though so I'm aiming to spend less than £7 - dinner will be £6 and I'll drink soda and lime as it's cheap! I'm going to be over budget on entertainment but only by a couple of pounds. I'm hoping that come Sunday (last day in January) I'll be under budget for the month but it's going to be close....!
Also, with Ebay/Amazon money arriving in my account today I'm up to £1492 in my savings account which means I have paid in another £200 since payday on Friday :A I still have to make my extra payment from having no council tax, so it's going to be £300-odd in extra payments this month, plus my normal monthly payment of £128

I should be in the shower by now but....
According to the snowball calculator, if I can find £500 per month to service my debts I will be debt-free in November.
1. This includes the money I spend on my minimum payment (£128) so only £372 to find
2. Rent from lodger will be £300 per month from February (end of month) so only £72 to find
3. Should also have a bonus in March from work so will be able to make lump sum payment then (Probably no more than £300 as paying for holiday funtimes too)
It's looking more and more likely that I will be debt-free in December in time for turning 30 :j:j:j:j
