    Achieved today:

    1. 8 hours of overtime @ double time which is about £170 before tax, NI, sodding student loan and pension payments come off. Woo!
    2. Took my lunch to work
    3. Returned £46.01 of clothes to M&S today (And £54 to Next yesterday)
    4. Bought cheap food in the supermarket that I will actually eat (Some of which is good for lunches and I do get bored with the same things all the time!)
    5. Dishes done
    6. Load of washing done, some of the rest of it hung up/put away
    7. Christmas tree/last decorations are down and put in the box. Mr Fresian will be sent to the loft with things sometime this week
    8. Realised that you don't really notice if you're making two cups of tea and only use one teabag :o (Frugaldom gone too far?!)

I'm about to hang the washing up so I'm not lying, then going to see if there's anything left in the house I can put to MusicMagpie/Amazon.

I've also now told my two closest friends at work (and my best friend) about my plan to live on £8,000 this year and my plan to pay off the debt this year. They know that I don't want sympathy, and I don't want them to buy me things (Lunch, coffee etc) because they're going for it. I want to do this without feeling like I'm missing out and to really feel the sense of achievement from it.

Mr Fresian knows that I live on the forums here, but I don't think he's ever really investigated. I'm not sure how well he'd cope with the teabag sharing :o It won't be long before he starts questioning why I'm so keen to make tea all the time...:D

Being more slovenly has its benefits...

Turns out I have more teatowels than fit in the drawer, I just don't think they have ever all been clean at the same time before :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Time to throw some of them out I think - would they go in with clothing for recycling or just in the bin?

Where would you do that? I'm not normally so good with recycling :o It's a royal pain in the a$$ when you don't have a car and when the evil local kids steal your recycling buckets...:rotfl:
