Especially if you're anywhere near Fife - according to Fife Council you're out of grit while the government is fiercely denying any such thing :rotfl:

Sadly, I never made it - a friend of ClootiesDad came to fix a door - told us at 10.30 the night before that he was coming, arrived 3 hours late and took so long fixing things I couldn't make it - But never mind - ClootiesDad has been made to feel sooooooo guilty as I was gutted that I couldn't meet up

I met Palema just before Christmas & hope to meet up with her & Flying-Fresian in the not too distant future - once the snow has settled (that might be June with the weather reports though)
Especially if you're anywhere near Fife - :rotfl:

    That's not nice :D

But ClootiesDad has arranged for one of his drivers to drop off some rock salt to me tonight - I think I'll sell it as it must be worth so much more than gold at the moment

I like to think of myself as quiet & blending into the background but this is often met by howls of laughter by my work colleagues - and I have no idea why :p

I was back at work too but no double time

I was too warm and snuggly this morning to do anything but shower so flask and good intentions all got left behind.

I am in the routine of doing lunch etc in the morning, but it's a pain in the erse when you're starting off. How about doing what I do - put the kettle on while you're brushing your teeth and fill the flask while you're guzzling mouthwash? Easy for me as I live in a tiny flat....not so easy if it's a trip up and down stairs :D
  • Don't envy you being back at work today F_F. I go back tomorrow, but set my alarm for 730am this morning so I can go to bed at a sensible time tonight, so I am not a walking zombie at work tomorrow!!

I wasn't bad today as I wasn't doing my normal job and could do the work and have a laugh. Tomorrow will be hell on toast as I'm back to normal work which I hate *sob*

We shall have to meet up when you get the Sound of Music tickets as I'm very conscious of owing you money for them :o

I should be doing things apart from faffing around on the interpipes....
