More than happy to send a copy of the spreadsheet to anyone who asks - active members and lurkers alike - but please remember to let me have an email address to send it to :)

At the moment I can only say with certainty that it runs on Excel 97 onwards (let me know if you're on 2007), but someone is currently trying it out on some free software that claims to be compatible - so there may be an option for others to run it once we know the result of that :)

    Many,Many Thanx Cheryl,
For sending me the spreadsheet:T:T:T:T i'm still lurking on here with a view to committing to this, haven't done my calculations yet,but will not put it off for much longer.:eek::eek::eek:
Hope everyone has a prosperous New Year in a frugal sense of course.
    Kind Regards
    E:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

im sat here with my workings out going round and round... i have a few dd's that will only continue till march like car insurance as im giving the car to my brother when the first year of insurance is up, im currantly going to acount for the whol insurance as were both insured but i foot the bill, also the same with having rac insurance

mine is at the moment (approx as things like phone and broadband has been downgraded so up untill 1st bill arrives i do not have a exact amount)

my currant dd's as it stands are
    £12.12 t v licence
    £14.21 rac cover
£22.00 sky tv but debating cancelling
100.00 approx gas/elec gas in debit as of nov but elec in credit
£101.29 car insurance meant to be halfs with brother but never has been
£35.00 dairy crest ive found this has drastically sut supermarket shops i make
£65.00 rent, my hb doesnt cover full rent
345 o2 mobile made idea but tied for another 22 months (stupid mistake)
£35 approx bt line rental and broadband
£44.00 thames water im not sure how this has been worked as im on a capped plan

ive not got as far as what amount to budget myself for as for the rest of the year, im not going to include any debts as at some point this year i am hopeing they will be settled via a divorce settlement

the other things i wont include is the purchase of a special needs buggy for my son as the local nhs wont fund one, his pre school fee's of £18 a week for 2 afternoon sessions, and ds1s swimming lessons ds2 to start when a place comes avalable and any other little bits that pop up relivent to him

im also saving hopefully £2 coins towards xmas and 50p coins towards my 3 boys birthdays, otherwise im hopeing to shortly write a list of upcomeing birthdays and start buying something to pop away for the relivent person

tolitires and similer again not budgeted anything yet, i was very lucky as i recieved money for xmas which i then used to go a little mad in lush as a treat so i have a good sized basketm, i also have various sets brought for xmas and my birthday, deodarant i buy approx twice a year as a crystal type from the 99p shop (and have found it to work very well)

i am not sure how much to budget for clothing yet, i shouldnt need anything for the next year my friend has recently given me a bag full of lovely stuff she hardly used

i will update later to save more rambleing and hopefully get a complete figure for it all
    Debt free

Here is a list of the contents of my fridge and store cupboards :)
I'm hoping I can get some inspiration to use a lot of it up this month and save on my shopping bills...

Hi Glad, I'd be more looking at ways of making it last for as long as possible by combining ingredients into basic meals and meal 'parts' then freezing some for future convenience (if you have a freezer). In this house, our most regular meals consist of curries & rice, stir fry & noodles, sweet & sour type dishes, pies, soups, stews, pasta dishes and bog-standard meat, potatoes & veg. Haven't a clue about the alcohol, as it only features here at New Year, so lasts for years. :D That alcohol shelf in this house just magically restocks itself, as I can't remember the last time I bought any for us. :o That's what homebrewing does to you. :rotfl:
