The way I see it tez you have nothing to lose.

You stay on here read all the great tips and automatically reduce your spending. The budgets that have been set differ so much and even what people are budgeting for,so nobody really ever fails. And even more people like me are still in training on the budget setting but managed to save about £3,000 last year.

I dont post often but do read and all the blogs too and I am really pleased with my spending this year so far.

Even if you only record all your spends it makes you think twice, try.

Congrats to you and yours Whitewing. Enjoy your new little bundle of fun.

Today is an odd day, I swear my baby is eating my brains as its been glorious all day and I said to OH shame I didn't put any washing on and he said you did, and he's right there is a load sitting at home in the machine. Boooooo!
Nabbed another bottle of fabric conditioner on route down to sit with OH in shop so that cool and I need to go to Mr.T on the way home and nab 3 bottles of coke zero for £3 and see if they have anything nummy for tonight dinner, if not its noodles and corn beef surprise for us.
I finally finished hemming my last cot sheet last night so I am officially ready for bumps arrival. Quite a scary thought actually lol.
Off to order some free samply things and enter some comps, have a sunny frugal afternoon all.

    Congratulations Whitewing!

I'm way behind with posts, it's been insanely busy. I am keeping up with my spending though, which is why I should confess to being £140 over budget last month. I thought I was going to make it close to budget, but bought 6 Madness tickets for £139 on the last day of Feb. This month isn't going to be good either, the gas and electric bill are over £300 for this quarter. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up a bit later in the year!

tez_c - its great on this thread - I only joined this year, and learning more everyday - no way could I live on £4k, but have gone all in at £6k. You set your own budget and go from there - give it a try, like glendam says - you got nothing to lose
