Hugs to anyone that needs them, heart goes out to anyone going through loss
Another frugal day for me. I went to buy bread rolls for with my cupasoup amd bought economy ones that were reduced. Pack ofshortbread fingers for with tea- sainsburys cost- 37p  should last a few days. Currently umming and ahhing over an approved foods order. Why cant I just spend money
Did treat myself to a Tesco knitted hat and lovely mittens from a stall in the market for £1 each. But i think thats deserved
I have a dolly trolley- I think lots of people have them in london- mine is rather trendy with a pucci pattern. I know its a bit sad bt Id like an old lady one with rotating wheels to get up stairs better:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Hello everyone.
Best wishes to Edaniels and Meg during this v hard time.Take care
Well done to slowlyfading for passing your test!
Thriftylass, sds like you and your OH had a great talk,fab-a-roo-nie!!
I'm hoping that we've had another nsd today, just have to wait till hubby gets in from work to make sure.
Looking at the figures we're on track so far but our 'anything else' is higher than it should be but still under budget for now.Keeping a spending diary is a real eye opener!
Our car battery completely died yest as it hasn't been driven due to snow and ice (hubby is in his 1st yr of driving so didn't want to risk it).In laws were due to come rd this morn and help us jump start it,but they turned up with a brand new battery instead.(48 pounds)Intially I was like oh pants 'cos it meant forking out but then I thought obvi needed.I offered to pay them back in full but they refused. Then I offered to pay half which again they declined.App it hasn't been replaced for at least 7 yrs (it was their car prev). So feeling v grateful to them right now!
Talking of purses last night,I was planning on treating myself to a cath kidston purse but I'm torn between one that is 20 pounds and a travel one that is 6ish.I'm not sure I can fit all my cards in the smaller one but feel guilty when I think of buying the other one.My question is to the people who have little purses do you only carry your bank card?Cos I have lots of loyalty cards, bank cards (no credit cards I hasten to add!lol)This is a seperate treat excempt from our budget.
By the way to those who gave opinions last time,I managed to talk myself out of the lampshade and bathmat set so ta :DGod I waffle sorry.
Ps I made veg soup from scratch for the 1st time and some choc chip cookies and froze it all!whoop whoop:female:Our 2 gorgeous little girls born 2006 and 2010

The plus side of "downsizing" my purse was that I had to leave my store cards at home :rotfl:0 -
