The plus side of "downsizing" my purse was that I had to leave my store cards at home :rotfl:
This was my plan.Maybe if I downsize it will discourage me from spending.Just not sure if its practical as I have tesco and nector cards too.Mind you I've been grocery shopping online recently. This purse only has a coin section and a window at the side for bus pass/cards.:female:Our 2 gorgeous little girls born 2006 and 2010

hi everyone,
My thoughts are with those who have suffered losses.
Congratulations to BB for whatever it is that has happened....
I actually have a trolley on wheels, its actually a box on wheels I bought from Staples and its amazing! I can easily get a weeks worth of shopping in it plus other bits and pieces which means I dont have to do repeat trips and can buy offers/bigger packs. I'm only 27 and dont feel at all embarrassed about using it!
I am really interested in joining a LETS group and I have sent them a couple of emails but received no reply. I am in Preston, Lancashire.

I am trying out my new crochet hook and all I've managed so far is to tie a lot of knots! :rotfl:Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Any links to a thrifty frugal trolley dolly would be great, even if I am slightly scarred by my one and only trolley dolly experience...
I had a hairbrain idea to walk to Mr T's with DS2 one day and was dragging the dilapidated thing 2 miles home(trolley not DS2) and just happened to bump into the most sort after heart throb of the school 20 yrs previous, Me no make -up on, draggin a clapped out trolley dolly(not tartan but might as well been) tried to walk past ever so quick only to be stopped and given a hug by him and asked how I'm doing, my only one salvation was that after 20 yrs he looked worse than my dilapidated trolley and I wondered why I ever spent soooo many years swooning over him!!!!!Thriftkitten

Hey all,
Not been able to get on here for a few days and I've really missed you all!!!
Only had 2 spend days since 10th one was just milk and the other was a whoopsie shop for lunchbox bits. I spend just under £15 but before whoopsie price was almost £37 so I'm pretty chuffed. Plus I got 7 strawberry sundaes for 20p each which covers my current pregnancy craving for a few days lol. Also nabbed some loafs of bread for 11p each and a handfull of microwave pasta and potatoe snack pots things for 30p each, perfect for mini hot lunchs for OH in his cold shop and me when I'm busy with baby later in the year.
I still haven't managed to remember batterys for my camera but it is my big aim for tomorrow as I have some pennys left on an xmas gift card and argos have a clearence on them apparently. I'm also thinking about picking up the first issue of that crochet maggie for 99p just so I can get the hook and wool to play about with. I brought the first issue of the knitting one last year just for the needles and wool.
One for the lovely frugal ladies on here but any frugal remedies for stretch marks as mine seem to grow hourly and are so so sore at the moment, I've been slathering myself in various moisturisers but nothing seems to be working to well. I'm fed up with my OH calling me stripey lol.
I'm off for a nice bubble bath and to finish my Jodi Picoult book, its getting rather good!!!
