I would :D I am still subscribed to it hoping one day it will be posted on again :j

Happy new year all. Last night I thought I could sleep through the midnight fireworks etc but I didnt. Purely because the dog thought it was funny to bark as loud has he could to be louder than the kids hitting the bins  Ahh well, I then ended up at 8am

Was planning to do nothing today, but I cornered my lil bro. Last night he went to te
the casino and won quite a large amount. So for the first time in my life I extended my hand :o Something I felt awful doing but I needed to... He gave me £10 :j Then Mum gave me £10 for birthday, as promised yesterday. So I said right I am off to get a new cage for Spark (hamster) as he has a large cage and not the dwarf one he needs. So Mum offered to drive instead of me using the bus but as long as we went into 'Hudges'

Well went we got there I remembered Linda saying something about Matalan Wednesday for printed tops. So I went in and got loads for only £1/£2/£3 I also got some in Hudges too... 10 tops for £24 and thats me done for the year I think :T Thanks Linda :grinheart The down side I now have a little less to pay off my debt

Now its back to the original plan of cleaning etc

Have a great day all :j

Pap I think he should have given you more...have you thought about charging him for dog walking. If you refuse to do it, he will either have to do it himself (which won't happen) or he'll have to pay someone (you) You could only charge him a little but that extra £10 a week for example would make a huge difference to you.

    Snags what a !!!!!!

    maybe I should........

I'm having a bit pet insurance 'thing' at the moment. I decided not to renew Charlie's insurance as it was going to rise from £17 to £29 per month  as of today. I've done some looking round and as he is now 8, the options are getting a tiny bit limited. Also, on top of any excess, many ask for a percentage of the bill to be paid so a bill of (say) £350 could still cost well over £100 with the excess plus 10% or so.

I've always paid it since we split, it's gone up each year from £6 to now pushing £30. We claimed on it when he was a puppy as he got an abcess type thing on his shoulder but other than that, never had to. He needs some dental work, but policies are now only for accidental dental work so putting him under and then scraping/removing a dodgy tooth wouldn't be covered. We think he might be getting a tiny bit arthritic in a back leg.

I'm toying with self insurance - ie - put £25 a month in a savings account rather than insurance. Keep insuring as he's getting older
