Its a beautiful (although freezing) day out there and am going to keep a smile on my face all day today. Going to blitz the house this morning, strip the beds and then take DD for a nice walk. Oh and go for a run

Just to London for a few days. But it'll give me and DD a break and hopefully prepare me for straying away from the UK next time - never been on a holiday with DD before, so want to stay close to home just in case.Where are you off to Fire?

Happy New Year
Just about managed to stay awake and watch the utter waste of money that they call fireworks, go up in London - that was just a criminal waste if you ask me! DH was asleep by 10 and is still zonked now (after getting up about 8 times during the night)..I shall leave him to sleep on.
Had a lovely snow flurry, all big fluffy flakes and it looked pretty for all of 10 minutes but it's now stopping and the suns coming out :rolleyes:
Going to take the decs down later, I've normally got them down by now but I've really enjoyed the cosy feel of having them up this year, then it will be a throw together left overs meal of some sort.

Had a slight hangover earlier but feel ok now! Whoop! The kids have asked if they can go for a run with me today and since I've not been for 4 weeks I think it will be a good way to eeaaaaase me back in-Glorious day here-dead cold and frosty but the sun is shining.
My New Years started very well.
Had an email from my Mom-she is coming to see us while we are in Florida! Yahoo! So now I will be seeing my sister, brother, Mom and 2 Aunties! I'm soooooo excited.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
