Why not just carry on posting in it BB? You don't have to have debts to have a diary - it can be a good way of getting things off your chest and making sure you are in a good frame of mind to continue managing your finances well.

(And....we like to know the gossip.... :D)

dunno really  would anyone read it

I wish I could apply the same thinking to losing weight to losing debt. I really enjoyed (if that's the right word) planning the attack on the debt, finding all the ways to get extra pennies, exploiting loopholes etc etc. In a bizarre way, debtbusting is a bit exciting:o Not when it's at the awful bottom of the pit stage and it looks really bleak (been there when I did it the first time with 25k ) but when you get on the road and look forward to paying a few extra quid off and finding a new way to store a couple of quid etc.

    I know........I'm weird.......:rotfl:

Actually - I technically do have some debt. I have £177 on a CC. I've got around £30 AQA money from December I'm going to use on it.....might be a short diary though.....:rotfl: Saying that - £177 can soon snowball - oh boy, do I know that

I've got about £500 on my credit card that I need to shift - have to apply for a mortgage in the next few weeks (*gulp*), so need it to be gone.

I pay £350 a month to it (because I use it for food and petrol all month, then pay it off at the end), so I need to fund all shopping and petrol by some other means, and 'find' and extra £150, and then I'm sorted.

    Easy! :rotfl:

just treated myself to a bottle of perfume. I like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and it's a cheap one. I found the same place I last bought from and they still had stock (with nearly 70% off). I used some of my quidco money I keep separate for little treats. £9 for the perfume inc. postage and a few pennies back through quidco. :D

  • Hi all,

Happy New Year to you all.

This year is going to be a good year for all of us all!!

Sorry not been around much, bloody swine flu, then chest infection and sickness/tummy bug meant I spent more time asleep than awake.

It's the last David tennant Dr Who tonight and I've been advised to have the tissues handy. :( Who will brighten up my Saturday nights now?

Right time to crack on with some studying - it will keep my mind off of all those chocolates for all of 5 minutes.

    hugs to you all,

    Cx
